Was staying in one of the swanky hotels, but wondered down the promenade and came across Bar Flotante. A very typical locals haunt, service is relaxed, but staff are friendly and accommodating. Service is fairly slow, but when the sun is shining, and there is...More
This bar/restaurant looks very basic, nothing fancy about it, but it has a nice atmosphere, and good service. We were here just for lunch, and everything we ordered was freshly made and tasty, very Spanish. Though out of the centre of Ibiza town on Talamanca...More

You sit on the beach on plastic chairs. The light is more like a supermarket light. You do not find many high class tourists but Spanish guests. The average british or German family will keep this on distance because it looks a little bit spooky....More
We recently had a week in Talamanca at the lovely Hotel Argos. Bar Flotante is directly next to the Argos, on the beach. What a delightful little place, serving drinks and food. It was lovely eating freshly cooked (& caught) tiny sardines, with my feet...More
