Went in March last year for tapas which was first class. Revisited this May, nobody else there but don't let that put you off. Had a meat paella which was excellent. Friendly service and brilliant value. House wine fine. Deserves more attention!

We decided to give this restaurant another try this year and the service has improved a lot from last year. The meal was good and the waiter available unlike last year when the staff last year. Keep this up and we will be back

In the words of Gordon Ramsey "thank f for that!" We have been trying and failing to find some proper traditional canary cuisine until we found (by accident) this place Go for the goat. It has been a traditional canaries food since the sailors first dropped them off a few hundred years ago and this place does it excellently. The... More

Visited here several time whilst staying in Callao Salvaje, and we have never been disappointed. Personally we love the garlic prawns, sardines and the canarian chicken is simply the best!! The restaurant is very quaint and you are made welcolme as soon as you walk through the door. Extremely reasonable prices and lovely house wine.

Popped in for a quick meal on our first night in Callao after a long day travelling. We both opted for the menu of the day which is good value at €8.00. Both had tuna salad to start, I had pork steak and pinapple cake while Mrs had grilled chicken with Canarian potatoes and coffee. All good, as was the... More

This was a great little restaurant we could see from our apartment, it is upstairs however, but has a balcony all round with more chance of a welcome breeze and sea/mountain views. Traditional Canarian food was good, as was the fish at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly and helpful, will definitely return when in this area again, highly recommend

We live in Callao during the winter and frequent this restaurant very regular, for lunch, evening meals or just a drink on the terrace.. The prices are right, the food & service are excellent.. I would rate it one of the best in the village.. It is a typically Spanish/Canerian restaurant serving local dishes, so for the people looking for... More

On first site the Restaurant looks a little dated. Go beyond it & find out the food is great, tapas not expensive so try different dishes. Set menu is about €11, drinks again reasonably priced with a large terrace outside in summer watch the sun go down over La Gomera. Staff are pleasant with the waiter very quiet & only... More
