We moored up on the free pier for a lunch stop with family and the food was great. The service was good and I'd definitely go back again.

This wine bar has a great uninterrupted view of the lake with both indoor and outdoor seating. It is in a quiet area with less foot traffic compared to other places along the lake. Outstanding and very unique location. We are going there for food, wine and the very nice people. However the sun down is really spectacular. And if you are lucky they are having a nice concert on the mole of the harbor. A must see location....Recently Lucas expanded his activity within the nice setting of the bay by opening the Restaurant Soul Kitchen. Both locations are complementing each other perfectly. We are going mostly there with our boat, enjoying the view on Calde from the water and afterwards vice versa celebrating the good wines, cocktails, food and friendly people. Definitely a nice place to enjoy a drink in the evening: located at the lake, quiet surrounding and view across the lake with sunset (behind the mountains, don't expect too much). Seating is limited but a wine can be enjoyed standing, too. The tables are...at the lake but not directly so: small arm of the lake for boats in between as is a small pier. Service was very friendly indeed but also too slow for our taste in the end when the place filled up. Food was good but prices at the higher end especially with the smaller portions. So in short: good for a drink (wine was excellent), but don't go if you're still hungry.More

Direct by the lake - good for romantic couples - good selection of wines - could be cleaner - limited seating but enough standing room for a quick drink.

We had lunch at Sunset twice, going up by boat from where we were staying on Lake Maggiore although the restaurant is also accessible by road. Sunset is really a wine bar with an incredible wine list but they serve a small but interesting lunch...menu. You can sit out at unpretentious tables by the water under large trees and the food is abundant, very good and reasonably priced. The service by owner Marco and his daughter, is friendly and casual and you feel comfortable lingering long after the food has been eaten.More

The place is popular with locals and boaties alike, and we arrive there from the water in our boat , as there is a public pontoon to moor at. Wine selections is great, food selection small but good quality - just the place for lunch...platers, aperitivo or just a fee wines as the sun goes down. The owner is quiurky and friendly and is very likieable once you gwt to know him. Overall a great place for a social drink or just a relaxing drink after a day boating on the beautiful Lago Maggiore. This is now our "local" on the lake.More
