Don’t panic! It’s cold cuts of game and various meats only, oh and cheese. Cold cheese. But the service is great, the food is great, if a bit challenging, and all in all we had a great time. Different. Don’t take kids ‘cos they’ll kick...off as soon as they look at the menu. But for the rest of us, different, and great.More

Lovely glass of wine accompanying fine selection of meats, cheese, tartar and ceviche. All under a canopy that sheltered us from the high sun.

It’s a wine place that serves side food. Had the wine recommendation, was good and reasonably priced. Fish bruschetta was good, but cold, the baccala (cod) tasting dish was very good. Very nice setting inside or out. Recommended.

If you want an excellent lunch Scurone is well recommended. We stopped in for a slow lunch before heading back to Luino. Quality ingredients, nice service in a good setting is worth a visit.

After reading all the positive feedbacks and despite a quite disappointing visit two years ago, we decided to give it a 2nd chance. We ordered a mixed Antipasti Plate with cheese and ham and a bottle of wine... The wine was ok for its price...(25 EUR), but the Antipasti Plate came with the worst selection / value for money (15 EUR) I have seen so far around the villages in the region (and Cannobio). Mini pieces of good Italian cheese and ham were covered by tons of cheapest Mortadella and an Italian standard - the olive oil - was not even served...needless to say that the bread was of low quality...we left the place with the impression that they do not welcome guest to let them experience the Italian cuisine, but purely to make the best business possible. The unfriendly owner and his younger colleague - not the most motivated person neither - completed our negative experience...More

Hidden just a few meters back from Cannobio‘s harbour boulevard, this little gem is worth a visit. Exquisite selection of sausages and cheese from the region and more. We‘ll be back!

We visited cannobio on a hike over from cannero riviera and wanted a lighter lunch. We had a delicious lunch in the courtyard, really enjoying their smoked fish and cheeses... And a great aperol spritz. The service of this family run restaurant and store was...excellent and very welcoming. We will definitely be back / recommend.More

We were so glad we found a nice wine bar that also had meat and cheese trays . This was a little off the main lake promenade and service was very friendly . Prices were very reasonable and there was a big selection of wine...to choose from and i would definitely come back if i was visit again.More
