First of all, THIS is the place you must visit for a delicious dinner in Cannobio. It‘s the only place to get the most warm welcome, friendly staff and delicious food in town. The start with a nice glass of prosecco, an amazing appetizer of...Polpo Patate and a delicious dish of Entrecote, simply amazing! Excellent finish with a Torroncino - so their menu is a delight, period. Service is super friendly and nice. Winelist is great, for very fair prices. Spaghetti al vongole is super. Chef gave us a specific explanation about Barbaresco whine. Splendid locaties as well!

We were able to snag a table for lunch, thank goodness. I had the octopus salad and roast beef salad. My favorite meal while we were in the Lake Maggiore area! The young octopus was like butter. The roast beef was perfectly cooked medium rare...and sliced very thin. This family restaurant is well known for their pasta, but alas I am gluten free. I highly recommend this restaurant, but don't come expecting a lake view...come for the food!More

We are indebted to a recommendation from the Receptionist @ Hotel Pironi (see separate review) for finding this little gem. A Sunday, Market in Town and people everywhere. Only 50 metres back from the Market / Lake, but a Haven of peace and tranquility. Home...made Pasta, great service and wonderful food. My wife and I shared two dishes, Ravioli stuffed with Walnuts and another Ravioli dish but served with tomatoes, black olives and lots of garlic. Truly superb. We are much travelled and have always loved Italian food, but these two, simple, dishes are amongst the finest we have ever had the good fortune to savour. No room for Dessert, so just two cups of Macciato to finish. We thanked the Chef and his staff profusely and said the hotel had recommended him. Wonderful family run Restaurant with personal service. The dog was welcomed, the kids were given activity sheets and the T bone steak was huge! Highly recommended.

We stayed in Cannobio 8 nights in SEP 2021 and ate here, unfortunately, on our seventh night. We went back for our last dinner on our 8th night. The food is amazing, reasonably priced, and carefully prepared. We had two different pastas, the lamb chops,...and a fish plate. All were excellent. The deserts are not to be missed as a perfect ending. Great local wines by the glass or bottle. The atmosphere is quaint, quiet, and homey. The manager and the staff really work hard to make the experience wonderful. I’m afraid we would have e eaten here all 8 nights had we discovered it sooner. Be sure to make a reservation a day in advance as they are not huge and they do not want to compromise on quality.More

Recommended Place, we had a very good Dinner. Typical italian food, excellent service. We will be back :-) The prices are fair and there are good wines available as well.

We enjoyed a fantastic dinner here. Pizza, Pasta and Seafood were top-notch!! Definitely the best trattoria in Cannobio and very reasonable prices. Make sure to book a table in advance - super busy and usually completely full.

Cosy location, careful stuff, excellent food. Good price relation, much better then most of the restaurants along the lake.

Visited for dinner and had an excellent experience. Highly recommend the bruschetta and all the meat. Friendly service, comfortable atmosphere and nice drinks! If you are in Cannobio and want to have incredible, Italian food and don’t need lake view - it’s a must have!
