Walked in for lunch and felt so unwelcome we left. The barman just stated at us without saying a word...we asked about lunch and he just nodded at the wall behind us...well I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. ...nasty is all I can sayMore

Disappointing review, sorry you felt that way Matt. We are glad the vast majority of our regular and visiting customers don't feel the same way.

What can i say? Brilliant choice of beers & ciders. Oh and the food is amazing! Portion sizes are huge too, certainly wont leave hungry. Staff are lovely, so friendly and accomodating. If you want a "proper" country pub then look no further.

What a charmer.....lovely old traditional pub serving excellent food with wonderful friendly service. Log fire on a dull summer's day was a delight. Hubby says wonderful choice of well kept real ales. What more could you ask for.

Dogs are most welcome in our pub as long as they are on a lead and the owners clean up should there be any accidents!!
