We have passed this pub many times whilst travelling and this time we had time and stopped for dinner, we were pleasantly surprised. The menu had a good variety of dishes and we impressed with the quality and portions, washed down with a good pint and a glass of wine we were both very pleased. We will definitely visit again.

Booked a table for 4 , three weeks prior to our night out. It was meant to be a special night out for us all as it was a double birthday celebration for our two friends (one who is disabled and walks with two crutches ) . We arrived ten minuets early to get our drinks and to advise of... More

We visited yesterday with some friends. The service was fine but the food was very disappointing indeed. We chose chicken tikka salad and it was awful. A few limp leaves of salad, cubes of pepper and cucumber and three or four cherry tomatoes, topped off with some very dry and hard bits of orange chicken...terrible! I would have been embarrassed... Booked a family meal for my wife's birthday. We arrived early but no problem and were greeted by the very friendly staff. The service was polite and prompt and the starters came out quickly. The mains followed and were a mixture of fish, burger and chicken all cooked well. We had room for dessert and there was a great selection... More

We went as a party of four to celebrate my partners 60th birthday. Booked table in advance for a Friday night as we had heard the place gets very busy and when we arrived this was just the case. Greeted by a very efficient Bar person who took our drinks order and showed us to a lovely table. The whole... More

Living in Glastonbury this pub is not to far for us to visit so we thought we'd give it a go for the first time Saturday lunchtime. The staff were attentive and polite, although like others have mentioned nobody came and asked us if our meal was okay whilst we were eating, as if they had I would of mentioned... More
