excelent food and very nice service , great place to be on a warm day , interior was climatized , also some of the meals were lacto-free in case you have a lactose intolerance

Eaten here 4 times now and the food is the best I have had in Trnava, presented so beautifully with taste to match. A bit more expensive than others and a little off the main tourist routes but this shouldn’t put you off. Modest but...very varied menu with salmon tartare to steak to venison to duck.More

Very good restaurant, on a lovely place close to the Church. We seated outside, which was very pleasant. Excellent food, both "slovak classics" (Halušky - among the best I had in Slovakia) and other food (grilled fish). Great wine list with some local producers, it...is a pity not to have more possibilities by the glass!More

What a great find in this small quaint Slovak town. We were here on vacation to see our heritage. After day at Orava Castle made the drive to Trnava. It is a bit of a sleepy town on a Wednesday. Walked into this restaurant and...were greeted warmly. The host was very pleasant, spoke English and was knowledgeable about the local wines. Coming from Sonoma, Ca., we did not have high expectations, but loved the reasonably priced Slovak wines that our waiter recommended. The salad and pate were great to start. The chicken, pork and potato dumplings were all prepared and presented beautifully. Great experience!More

Nice place, but for group of peaple. We invated our Swedish colleagues to this restaurant to introduce historical centrum of Trnava with nice restaurant with very good cuisene. We´re unpleasantly surprised, because we book table for 9 people and we´re sitting in small room with...next 8 very noisy guests. We felt like in bad tavern. It looks, that this restaurant is suitable only for pairs not for groups. Food was imazing like always, but waitress didn´t speake English.More

Been in Trnava for a few days and popped in for a drink one late afternoon. We asked for a glass of local red wine. Served 3 glasses containig 100ml each. Pretty small measures but we didnt mind as this seemed usual for the area....Expecting it to be between 1.70 to 2 euro per 100ml, which is what we have been charged everywhere else, however charged me 15 euros which equates to nearly 40 euros a bottle for a local wine. Such a shame as it was a nice place and we were planning to return for dinner but went elsewhere.More

Stopped in for lunch at this busy restaurant. Were lucky to find a table in the rear dining room. Tasty chicken so, and gnocchi acounted for a hefty yet tasty meal. Would be happy to return

Four of us dined here last night and it was excellent. The food was tasty and delicious. Three of us had chicken, one had pork and all were accompanied by variously cooked potatoes. Two of us had dessert which they were happy with. We finished...off with coffees and one had tea. Just one thing! Like all the other restaurants we’ve tried since our arrival here in Trnava we were charged 30c extra for the 5-10ml of milk for our teas/coffees. This is the first time ever that we’ve come across this custom, and it seems a bit much. Finally we would prefer to linger a little longer over our meal, but in our case the waiter hovered behind us and literally grabbed our empty plates the minute we left down our cutlery after eating. He did this every time even before we were all finished our meals. Normally we don’t expect the table to be cleared until each person has finished the course. Otherwise we enjoyed our meal here and it was definitely the best we’ve had so far in Trnava. Thank you.More

We had a family lunch at the place -- le foie gras as entrée, pomodoro soup and tagliatelle with shiitake mushrooms as the main course. The food was great, taste quite balanced and served nice. I definitely recommend this place for business lunch. There is...also a good wifi connection available. Unfortunately the place lacks a playground area for kids. The staff was very attentive despite of the initial mistake of making us wait for 10 minutes before the menu was offered. Keep up the great job!More

If you can appreciate well made food in a nice atmosphere this is the place to go in Trnava. We had different meat meals and all of them were wonderful. Very tender meats and served with tasty potatoes. The croquettes were just a touch too...soft to be nitpicky...More
