Stayed here for two nights with our 12 year old son. Hotel was spotlessly clean & staff were very friendly. Compliments to the Chef- food was fabulous & great variety on menu.
Had a lovely night at Ryans, dined in their outdoor seating area and the wall heaters kept us lovely and warm. The staff are brilliant, couldn't do enough for everyone and the service was great. It was great to see all the local young people...employed there and they worked so hard to keep everyone fed and watered. Well done to the man who runs the hotel, 10/10 for customer service.More
Food very poor, fish frozen so disappointing, expected nice fresh beer battered fish due to location ate in fabulous pub across the road for lunch it was excellent. Very very poor nothing positive to say, owner shocking what not to do in hospitality. Rude left...upset. Definitely would never return, Couldn't recommend shocking beyond belief STAY AWAY !!!More
Looked after from check-in by Dennis to check-out by Brigid. Dennis was very polite and a wealth of local knowledge. Service in the restaurant and bar was prompt and efficient, Guinness was good also. Room was spacey and spotless. A little gem
We stayed here for two nights and didn’t enjoy it at all. The hotel had a musty damp smell throughout, the food was awful (stale cereal at breakfast both mornings), there were actual specks of blood on the bedside locker which I mentioned to a...staff member on our first day but it was still there when we left. We placed our order for food in the restaurant and were sitting there for an hour and a half before we had to ask if there was a problem with our order. When the food eventually arrived it was only okay. We won’t be going back.More

The lad serving us was lovely had my buddy had a roast...beef dinner and I had cabbage and bacon.. tasty !!! The place was quiet with a few American tourists and a few locals .. (toilets clean and service great ) And ... We even had apple tart and custard.. homemade and yummy !!! A great meal was had by both of us and the coffee was great too .. one for our lunch list !!More
Great food, we stoped several times for tea and scones and a delicious evening meal. Outside seating for beautiful view of the river.
