Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was recommended by the nearby camping. The food was excellent and the guinness fresh. The staff was great. A place to recommend.

Had a great meal on a business trip to Cong. Got to catch up on some work at a table while having the meal. Great atmosphere and had a nice pint there as well. Only problem was it was tempting to stay the night as...there was a great buzz at the bar with all sorts having a chat and a beer. Great staff, even observed one of them brushing up on their German having a chat with some tourists. Great spot.More

Very disappointed with the food. I ordered fish and chips my friend had the double burger. Frozen chips fish tasted like it was frozen the pea puree was cold and had far too much mint for it to be enjoyable. Bland tartare sauce. Friend reckons...her burger was frozen she ordered a side of onion rings rings again from a freezer pack. Nothing homemade about our food. Table was clean but felt very sticky. Not a pleasant experience. Our server was lovelyMore

We had a late lunch here which was exceptional. Edward was our bartender/server and he was outstanding. Nice table by fire on a cool Irish day was perfect. Food was delicious and fairly priced with perfect portions. I would highly recommend stopping by for at...least a pint and food with great Irish ambiance.More

Went here for food last night with a friend. I live locally but it's been alot of years since I'd been in, I usually go farther afield when I go out, but man I will not make that mistake again when I want to go...out for a yummy meal! I had the fajitas pasta, my friend had the Katsu burger, and we couldnt have been happier. The portions were huge, the food was delicious, the server we had (a young guy with red hair? Sorry, I didnt catch his name!) was lovely, as were all the other staff we dealt with for anything. And it was all very affordable. Left feeling happy and full!More
