Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visiting Cong and went there for a drink after approaching the bar to order a drink only to be asked were we with the wedding party to which we replied no only to be told it was reserved for a private function and refused to...serve us. Having later spoken to some of the locals this behavior is not unusual for this premisesMore

Service was a bit gruff, TV was rather loud for the lunch hour, food was okay. But my vegetarian son and I had a few options: pizza, soup, pasta, salad, and some side dishes.

Went here for a meal and it was just average. The staff and the service were good and the Lasagne was nice ,but overall the food was just ok. Very pricey for what we had and chips were not good .

Mary thank you for your very kind words - that is so uplifting especially for our staff who need a boost every now and again. Best regards Denis

After confirming with the waitress the tea was Barry's Tea, I was served a pot of generic dishwater. All was not lost as McHuges down the road had Barry's Tea. One star for the food which was alright, wont be back.

Stopped for dinner. Staff were friendly, Guinness was excellent. Food was just OK. Lamb shank was overdone and the vegetables were bland.

Myself and my sister eat here on two consecutive nights .On both occasions the food was very good couldn’t fault it or the staff serving it . On the second evening we noticed people leaving and returning to their tables without face masks ,the exit...lead down some steps to a car park but we noticed people were entering from that end and also exiting by the entrance . A couple at a nearby table were joined by a man who stood uncomfortably close to our table .We pointed this out to the owner who made no comment . At another table there was 15 people drinking with no social distancing in place and with chairs been taken from tables including out to their table . We were given the impression locals were better cared for than passing tradeMore
