Excellent service, lovely cosy location, great wine and of course divine food. They provided some interesting extra amuse bouche that were lovely. The owner and all the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, certainly the best place for dinner in the town.

A lovely family business with an attractive dining room, an imaginative menu and very friendly service. My wife ate some fish, which was wonderful, and I had the 'Black Angus' which was a large piece of Aberdeen Angus beef. It was billed as 'well-done' but, sadly, it was TOO well done to the point where ALL the flavour had been... More

We had a dinner there on a hot summer day. It's located in a very convenient place in Cangas de Onis. it's owned by 2 brothers and we found both of them very friendly. We had seafood and cheese which were tasty, and the price was reasonable. Easy place to visit and relax.

After 4 hours of hiking "La Ruta del Cares" in Picos de Europa we arrived at El Molin de la Pedrera with relinquishment and hope for a good Asturias dish. Boy were our basic expectations shattered. This restaurant would be a star to any big city food critic. They have a huge Iberian Ham at the entrance and will shave... More

It's a nice restaurant by the river Güeña. It is very well known by the good quality of it's food and service. Fresh local products presented with exciting new combinations and tradicional asturian dishes.

First off, the proprietor was our host and waiter. He made us immediately comfortable and walked us through the menu. He explained the local cider house culture and recommended a decent cider to us. El Molin specializes in local Asturian cuisine and does it with heart. The food is hearty and flavorful and filling. I recommend the Filo Pastry with... More

A very nice surprise. We expected a good, reasonable lunch, and we got a degustation menu. Every dish was very well-thought-out. Even something, that could be just a well cooked fish, had a original twist. The wine by glass was also very good (we could not taste a good bottle - driving). The bill was a nice surprise. I could... More
