Called in here this morning for an English breakfast and it was very very good considering it was only €2.00 eggs bacon sausage beans tomato, nice views looking out to sea as well.

This place is just before Porto colon and to be honest it looks like a pretty average restaurant from the outside. I have eaten here once before about 5 years ago and had a wonderful leg of lamb at a ridiculously cheap price, and it is still only around E14 for a whole leg. We had the mixed grilled fish... More
Visited here last year and was so good we made a point of coming back again this year. Chateaux Briand is amazing and served quickly without feeling rushed either. Decent selection for kids and the size of the kids steaks are huge for around €3.50. Will be back again in september.
Have visited here a few times of the past year. Yesterday, we called back in and had a great meal. The fish platter was great and just what we all wanted. As usual, generous portions and great value - we will be back! Not a bad view either!!
Been to La Gran Paella a number of times over the last 5 years or so and usually had very good meals, surroundings ok but customers come back I suspect for the value for money and to be frank the food is tastier than many more pretentious places. At least it's not pretending to be something it's not. Anyway back... More

They are 3 times the size of UK fillets, they are perfectly lean and juicy and are so cheap. The decor is basic but the... More
Went on Tuesday having been a regular for the last 5 years. Food as always was good, with large portions. Drink prices have gone up dramatically. Rather grudgingly (as a regular!) I have to admit that the waiters have chsnged and aren't as friendly as they used to be. Becoming more fast food than local food. Please bring the smiles... More
We dined here twice in the space of a few days. Yes, we felt compelled to go back.....because of the sole. On our first visit it was nothing short of superb. Perfectly cooked with canarian potatoes and crispy salad. Portions were extra generous. We were both served three full fish each! Staff were attentive and friendly..even under pressure.....and the pressure... More
