Really was very good to find pretty fine cuisine in beer pub :-) Local dishes, Asian food, European, original recipes, and Guinness there is Guinness :-) I definitely recommend this place to visit.

It’s a glad sight when far away from home to see an Irish bar. Think Irish craic and music. Unfortunately I was to find that my big toe has more Irish charm that this bar. The decor is homely but there really is nutting Oirish...about dis pub. Food was average - I know vegan is yet to meet these parts but one or two clearly marked options would help improve the menu, which otherwise has a good selection. Staff were friendly-ish I guess, nothing to get excited about. There was a local singer on which was a nice touch. Would call in if I was here again.More
The food was to greasy and the service really slow. It's not what we expected. There was some live music when we where there and that was ok.
I see why the Mongol Rally organisers choose this as their base once a year. Very welcoming and a great selection of beers. A little pricey, but worth it for the atmosphere.
Imagine Driving from England to Mongolia and ending in Ulan Ude to find a British themed pub! It was a fantastic place to finish with a pint and some food.
My girlfriend and I were initially scepical of visiting a British pub in Ulan Ude, but when we could find few places to go for a drink in the city centre we turned to this place. Surprisingly, as well as a lot of British imports...and tourist trash they do also have a good selection of local beer. What’s more, the prices are actually pretty affordable at 200 Roubles for most of the beers on tap, or less for the local one. That’s more than average for Ulan Ude prices - but cheaper even than Irkutsk or Vladivostok was still, never mind Moscow or Pitere. We came for an early drink on our first night, and then left for a while before coming back later. They are open until 2, so we came back at around 00:30 or so. Unfortunately, as he had heard us speaking in English earlier, after taking our drinks order the bartender turned to his colleague, swore loudly, and made a comment about “stupid tourists coming in right before closing.” What he didn’t realise was that my girlfriend is fluent in Russian, and even I speak enough to understans everything he said. We made sure to drink extra slowly and order lots of shots whenever he was nearby, just for him. So don’t expect the welcome from the bar staff to be as warm as it should be, even though the old lady taking coats on the door was very welcoming. The beer was decent and cheap enough for us to come back a second night though. I really enjoyed the cherry version, though the simple local one for about 160 Roubles was also pretty good. The locals in the pub were surprised to see non-locals never mind non-Russians and kept coming over to talk to us, and they were friendly enough as well. On our last morning, we came back for breakfast against my desire because my girlfriend wanted to try the English breakfast. The food looked like it would be overpriced tourist crap, and I was not wrong. The “English breakfast” had no beans, no hash browns, and ham instead of bacon. The sausages were Frankfurter hot dog sausages, and it came with potato wedges for some reason. It was about as close to an English breakfast as my shawarma, which was expensive, had barely any meat, and consisted mostly of cabbage and mayo in some tastless mixture. The drinks are good for an evening out, but I would not eat here again.More
Most nice place in Ulan ude. l visit in 2time . price is average but service is best. nice music restroom is clean 😝 try it 😊
I'm not sure if this is a pub, a club or a restaurant, but breakfast there was awesome. It had lots of options, and served English Breakfast. Sweets and pastries, as well as lunch, looked really good and the service was outstanding, they even helped...us to get a taxi to go to the temple. I'd love to go back!More
The food here was average and portions were small. Service was very slow despite the pub not being full. The homebrew Churchill Lager was also poor. Would avoid.
What a nice little place. No one in my group ordered food but seeing what other patrons ordered, I'd give the place a try the next time I'm through. Nice selection of beer, fun familiar pub atmosphere, but for the number of staff working behind...the bar, it was a little difficult to order a drink. It seemed like one server would take the order, another would fill it. ...obviously the orders did get filled since I was wobbly walking back to my hotel at the end of the night.More
This place is OK and does do a good selection of beers including their own branded IPA which I would recommend. It's a pub and it does what it says on the tin with a good selection of pub grub to boot.
To one side of the main square, live music most nights, wifi, meals are an assortment from deep friend drinking food to the classic dumplings to garlic bread and hot chips. An average beer selection with a few local choices. Otherwise it's all vodka!
Hi! If all is not so bad as you say - why only three points?😄
If you happen to find yourself in Ulan Ulde and you wanting some western food and drink head here. Friendly staff. Kinda smoky at the bar as they have hookah. Food not bad.
Tried Churchill pork steak, beef named Intalia, thai chicken and salted Omul. Servoce is a bit slow but the place is crowded. Drinks menu is great. They ave some local beers. There is also lot of local buryatian food and drinks choices.
Great Pub atmosphere, but food is only "ok" at best. Eaten there several times- food never "great" always only "ok". A bit pricy too- but great place just to hang out with friends- nice staff- great central location (on main square) across the street from...Lenin's enormous spooky head.More
