Great selection of tapas, plenty of tasty vegetarian options. Goat’s cheese with fig jam was very tasty as were the falafels. The mango and advocado wraps were yum but very filling so the waiter kindly packed up the remainder for us to bring home with us. A delicious iced crème brûlée for dessert rounded off the meal nicely. Lovely spot down by the old harbour. Would definitely return here.

Delicious! We started with bread and garlic butter which was so moreish. We had 5 dishes between two even though the waiter suggested four would be enough; chorizo with cider, banana croquettes, black pudding, fried fish and langoustines. He was correct, we couldn’t finish it all. Every dish was as good as the next. We had a bottle of red and some water and the bill was a very reasonable €60 ish. Staff are charming and helpful. Several parties were turned away as the restaurant was busy so do book in advance. Don’t be put off by the fact it’s behind Burger King!

Excellent food and service, we had 3 Tapas and a main dish. We were served warm bread with flavoured butter as we waited for our food. Every dish was tasty and well cooked, the presentation was also considered and completed the dishes. Prices were also excellent for the quality served

First visited this restaurant in their previous premises in 2016; therefore, we were keen to try again.
The new premises is tucked in behind Burger King. We were stood outside whilst waiters continued to serve tables outside and inside, and waited for approximately 5-minutes before someone acknowledged us. Had we not been before, we would have left.
We were somewhat surprised, but happy, that the menu was very similar to that of 6-years ago. Unfortunately, the food was not the same level as we remembered.
The first dish took 45-minutes to arrive. Although the waiter did apologise; no pintos, drink or even a smile was offered.
The 1L jug of Sangria was underfilled. It was filled with plenty of ice and came well below the 1L line on the jug.
The tuna tartar was very nice, but we did find a few pieces of egg shell within the tartar, which was unfortunate. The mini burgers were still very nice. The chorizo in cider was unpleasant; the cider was very watery, in flavour and consistency, and the chorizo was falling apart. I'm guessing the sausage was considerably over cooked within the 'cider'; and therefore the texture of the sausage was very odd and completely flavourless. The croquettes were dry and over cooked. They also came with an 'orange sauce', which wasn't very nice nor pleasant. There is certainly an over use of food colourings within a lot of the dishes, which is certainly not necessary.
We were incredible disappointed by the quality of the food and slow service. We will unfortunately be giving Taberna De Nino a miss in the future.

The food in this restaurant is awesome! We had some tapas and one dessert that were incredible. Moreover, the waiter was very friendly and he spoke English very well, so we didn’t have problems with communication (and that’s rare on Lanzarote).
Although there is no sea view, we really recommend this place for the high quality of local dishes and service.

Ate here last night had garlic prawn’s, lamb kebabs, black pudding & chorizo in cidre the garlic prawns were good but we had better at a Chinese a few nights earlier the chorizo in cider was ok not much for the black pudding cheese & Canaria potatoe and the lamb kebabs were nice. Sangria is good but not a lot of fruit. Cheesecake was fantastic but got a bit sickly towards the end maybe that’s just me
Nice place one young staff member was really friendly and helpful. Presentation of food is excellent but I was expecting more taste and flavours. Nice to see the chefs cooking your food as you wait..

Got to be the best restaurant for tapas in PDC. Our whole experience was fantastic from the service to the amazing food. We arrived without a booking and a helpful waiter said if we were prepared to wait 10 minutes he should be able to seat us in the outdoor seating area. This he did, it was a bit chilly as that north wind was blowing but we were happy to get a table. We ordered and were waiting for our food when an older waiter came and asked us if we would like to move nearer to a heater as a table was now free there . We really appreciated that.
The choice of tapas was amazing and there were so many dishes we’d never seen before. A class above the run of the mill tapas restaurant for sure; the atmosphere was relaxed too and you felt inclined to linger. We also noticed Spanish people eating there which is usually a good sign. When we asked for the bill we were given a drink in a long glass that tasted like a mixture of Baileys and ice cream. Very nice!
I would definitely recommend La Taberna de Nino to anyone who loves tapas, especially if you like to try something a bit different and want to relax and enjoy your meal.

We had a really great dinner here last week. Very comfortable with great service throughout
We had the baked brie with walnuts, olive oil and oregano, fried green peppers and a paella type dish with rice, prawns and clams. The house wine was also very good
Everything was just right and the staff did a great job

Fantastic food and service! Definitely the best tapas we had all holiday. Alex our waiter was very helpful with picking the right amount of dishes and which ones he recommended. We would make it a priority to go back there next time!

Initial disappointment one of our favourite restaurants had closed, changed when we realised they had moved and downsized. We book as a family of 12 with anticipation
Unfortunately food was very poor , chicken dish was raw , and when the dish was returned the team just didn’t care at all. Other dishes ordered did not arrive
This is a very poor reincarnation of what was a quality tapas restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone and would suggest it is avoided at all costs

We ate at this wonderful restaurant 5 times during our 2 week stay in Lanzarote. We visited a few restaurants around Lanzarote with good reviews, and none of them will ever top this one. They have a large selection of very tasty tapas, but their ribs are definitely a must try! They also have a large selection of wine, and their sangria is phenomenal. The service was fantastic, which we discovered to be quite hard to find in Lanzarote. They were very friendly and professional, and coped very well even when the restaurant was full. If you want to eat here on weekend evenings, be sure to make a reservation. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, and we will definitely visit there again if we ever find ourselves back in Lanzarote.

We ate here recently and enjoyed a wonderful meal including pork, mini burgers, black pudding and sizzling prawns.
The tapas are superb and the house wine, at €4 a glass, was delicious. It was our best meal in PDC and we will return on our next visit.

The place is a tiny bit hidden, which is a shame, luckily, my girlfriend did a great research of the restaurants in the area and found the Taberna De Nino.
I was really happy with the food and the hospitality.
The combination of sweet and salty was just amazing and rich of flavour.
We had the croquetas, the ribs cooked with Palm tree honey and caramelised mojos (omg), and two hamburgers (not the usual burgers).
I was already attracted by the ribs and then we followed the recommendation of the waiter for the burgers. All was magic and at a fair price.

I rarely do reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it.
Food was amazing. In particular the tuna tatiki was fabulous, but there wasn't a bad dish amongst us, and the kids steak and chicken were also beautifully cooked.
Service was excellent - attentive waiters with a friendly and slightly cheeky manner, a free after dinner drink, happy to give us a doggy bag.
Whilst the location might not be the most salubrious, it is still well situated in town. I'd heartily recommend a visit.
