My wife and I ate here last night 18/01/17, I had read other people's reviews and thought we would give it a try. We had Coquetts as a shared starter followed by fish fillets in an onion sauce and my wife had the mushroom omelette which she said was the best she had ever had on the island my meal... More

We were in need of some tapas for lunch one day and decided to give the mixed tapas platter for 13 euros a try having been well and truly schmoozed by the very friendly owner of the restaurant. My husband enjoyed the tapas although I must admit I was rather underwhelmed. However it was a very pleasant place to sit... More

We found the food less enticing than other reviewers. My wife's tapas selection was all deep fried (maybe she should have looked more closely at the photo menu) and the flavours were swamped. My mixed seafood was more than ample in proportion and OK, but none of the items were outstanding in taste. The local beer was possibly the best... More

Visited Puerto del Carmen for the afternoon and stopped off here for a very long lunch. A very good choice! The Vegetarian Paella was excellent and very fresh. Good house wine. Good place to sit and people watch. The staff are so friendly and really make you feel welcome. We watched a beautiful sunset over the mountains. Wouldn't hesitate to... More

Lovely meal, fried cheese was great, the paella was amazing. Staff very friendly and attentive.family run restaurant of 20 years standing. Must be doing something right! Forget all the run of the mill stuff on the strip, all of the best restaurants are in the old town!

Decided to head to the old town marina, to see what restaurants and bars were around, and found El Poril, the setting is perfect to watch the sunset over the mountains, there was little park right next to the restaurant, so our 3 children played whilst, my husband and I sipped sangria and watched the sun go down... I had... More

Visited El Poril (Antonio's) for my partner's birthday. This place is our favourite restaurant on the island of Lanzarote. Antonio is always happy to see us and make us welcome. The food is second to none - try the mussels for starter - absolutely devine! We will be back in May ☺

My husband and I had a meal here last week. All was well and food was nice and well presented. On leaving and speaking to the owner a member of staff came up to my husband and handed us 20 euros back and said we had put down a 50 euro instead of a 10 euro ( ie a 50... More

This was one of many restaurants my wife and I visited during our stay at the end of October and what a lovely family run place it is. There was a good choice on the menu, enough to satisfy most tastes but it did have a Spanish feel to it, just what we were looking for. We had garlic prawns... More
