Although the pub is still in Albert Road and open for business the Bistro has moved to the White Hart in the Market Square
Yes, and thanks for letting people know that we have moved the food operation to the White Hart and also Clockwork Molly's in Retford with the same staff plus more! Alberto's is purely a bar now and just as popular as ever. I have tried, but for some reason Trip Advisor will not delete Alberto's listing......only if the business closes... More
After hearing loads of brilliant reviews about this 'restaurant', me and my boyfriend were looking forward to trying it and apparently it sold the nicest food in Retford so we were doubly excited. Triply excited as well seeing as we'd heard about the good value for money. Saturday evening, about quarter to six and we made ourselves comfortable. Whilst my... More
Ate here last week and it was very nice, I had Alberto's chimichangas and throughly enjoyed them, there was also a selection of sweets very reasonable in price, overall would recommend

My wife and I had dinner in Alberto's for the first time last week and were blown away, we didnt realise that there was such good and affordable food on offer just around the corner from us! The staff were very friendly, greeted us, showed us to our table and made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.... More
Me and my husband went at last minute glad we did food was really nice a good value . We had nacho starter and steak sizzler for main would highley recommend
We visited Alberto’s for a midweek treat and were glad that it was the Tapas menu as we had never sampled that before. As most other reviewers have commented, the food is wonderful, portion sizes generous and the service is good. It is attached to the main bar so I guess on occasions it could get noisy but nothing too... More
Readers please note, our house wine is £11.75 not £17.50! It's misleading to readers if our house wine appears to be £17.50, so please read on..... The wine that was served on this occasion was our most expensive red wine, a Gran Reserva Cabarnet Sauvignon at £17.25. I am convinced that you won't find the same wine cheaper anywhere else,... More
