Delicious food

We enjoyed lunch at Ocean Basket in Harrismith on our way to Ladysmith. We ordered a platter that we shared. The food was delicious and well prepared. Waiters were friendly. Ocean basket serves complimentary breadrolls with butter, garlic, fresh chillies and tartar sauce. Good value...More

Half Way

Very fast and efficient service and very nice and fast service half way to Durban. Stop, refresh, enjoy

Harrismith petrol station

Fast service for long travelling purpose, music appropriate for restaurant environment. Easy access and save parking. Nice range of light meals.

An Excellent Fish Meal

This restaurant was our half way stop on the way to Durban. The hake, Kingklip meal was excellent. The restaurant has an informal and formal section. The toilets were clean. The service was good and price as well. 4/5

great food and service

For travelers between Durban and Gauteng or Freestate or traveling to KZN it is a stop worth making . the service is fast and efficient and the food is great and well prepared , A good relaxed atmosphere gets you a good break and back...More

Great place to eat!

What a treat!! The service was remarkably fast and food good enough to lick the plate clean (if that were acceptable)! Well done guys!

Delicious!

This restaurant is a gem for Harrismith with great value for money. I had a family visit and the surprise was to to get to Ocean Basket for a most enjoyable meal. Highly recommended!

Brunch at Ocean Basket at Bergview Stop

The atmosphere in the sunny restaurant was great and just the right place to stop before entering the Central Drakensberg from Bergville's side. The food was good and the staff efficient and friendly. Will do that again!
