In the harbour. Nice lunch for two with octopus salad, and fried small fishes as starter followed by a whole squid and a duck skewer. Plus desert. The whole meal was excellent.

Delicious food but very large helpings. I had the duck, which was very good, followed by the cointreau souflee ice cream which was fantastic!

There are oodles of restaurants and bars in Grau du Roi but, a French couple recommended this restaurant to us. They ate there for the four nights of their stay. The man was back in his home town after many years away. Nice position overlooking the harbour entrance. You can people watch as you eat. Owner supplies his own locally... More

I like very much this restaurant Everything is fresh made, and fishes are prepared right after fishing from the Kalvin Kilyan boat. Grilled squids and rouille graulenne are excellent. Grilled fishes absolutely delicious and generous. The Chardonnay from Charles Guitard is floral (white flowers and violets), tasty and long. Service is efficient and kind. Congrats !

We decided to disregard the negative reviews and took a chance. Bad choice. The catch of the day ( from the previous day) had only one portion left-this was at 13.30, but we still were hopeful. Unfortunately all 7 of us had a variety of not very nice dishes. Tasteless salads, boring tuna, mediocre fish soup. The site was pleasant,... More

Me and my boyfriend were on a holiday in the Camargue, and had decided to eat in Grau-le-Roi. Had written this address down as a contender for dining after consulting Tripadvisor. The restaurant is easily found, looks very clean and appealing with a lovely view on the port. The staff was accommodating and friendly, smiling a lot. Our table was handsomely... More

We've just had lunch there, great place, awesome location on the harbor, great range of fish, meat and salads. Very nice staff, reasonably priced, huuuge plates!

I had a lovely bank holiday lunch here with a friend. The blackboard dish of the day was tuna steak - I asked if it was 'Mediterranean' and the answer that the owner fished it himself was good enough for me! Delicious fresh seared tuna steak, cooked to perfection and served with Mediterranean vegetables and a green salad. Washed down... More

We sat at a table by the sea, a couple of days before the end of October, enjoying moules and a salad. Excellent food and great location. Was a bit busy for us so came back at 2pm when had a choice of tables. Restaurant overlooks the beach and the sea. Good choice for a lunch.

The food is good - in parts very good indeed (la petite friture de jols, for example), and good value for money as well. The owners are a pain: Dad, the fisherman, told us off for moving the parasol so that we would be in the shade. Mum, the maitre(sse) d', fussed about the place clearing tables before people were...
