I know they are known for their mussells, so thats what I ordered. Must have been a bad day, mussells were small, over cooked, tough, and didnt taste very fresh. However my husband's deep fried plaice was delicious.

This is an absolutely amazing spot with the best open crab sandwiches I have ever had. We visit Kenmare regularly and always make as many trips across as possible. Top food, brilliant staff and fantastic Guinness!

As a photographer I just loved this place , the boats the harbour, the heathers and the mountains all made for a pleasant stop , unfortunately we did not eat here but it was busy and the pints looked great. Desmond Daly Photography.

Having had a long tiring drive we were pointed in the direction of this pub being one of the few places serving food in and about Lauragh where we were staying. We noticed a lot of pubs in Ireland don't serve meals but they don't...More

The evening was spent playing live music and sampling the food and Murphys. Very friendly spot and the bar man giving us a lift home was well received
