Stopped in and ate 4 tarts between 4 of us. We ran around the property and went back in for 4 more! They were that good!

Firstly. The tarts are delicious. There a number of great flavours to choose from. The crust are unusually flaky, which is not my preference, but this does not detract from the overall flavour. These are really pricey. $2.25 Each or $12 for a half dozen. For some reason, I was charged $13 for a half dozen. I let is slide... More

Multiple varieties of butter tarts. We still like the plain & raisin ones best! Though the cranberry & chocolate chip are a close third and fourth. We've tried the coconut, coffee, chocolate chip, raspberry, blueberry, pecan, and cranberry. The blueberry & raspberry tarts tasted more like mini pies instead of the traditional butter tart. They only take cash or debit!... More

Nice variety of butter tarts and all homemade. They are very sweet so I would recommend the fruit ones. The parking lot is small as well as the inside of the store. The only place to sit and eat the tarts on site is on the outside porch in chairs. If you are looking for an early morning treat, beware... More

Very yummy butter tarts in traditional and not-so-traditional flavours (try the cranberry!). Service was very friendly as well and the lattes we ordered as well were perfect. What a great place to stop if you are travelling in this area.

We did buy some butter tarts which I'm not really qualified to assess, but the other patrons seemed happy enough. There is a large-ish selection to... More

Incredible buttertarts. We tried the plain, raisin and pecan. All rated 10 out of 10. Pastry and filling both excellent.

While on vacation, we visited Algonquin Gourmet Butter Tarts in Maynooth. Absolutely fantastic tarts. Almost 257000 tarts served so far!! Worth a trip to Maynooth. Stop on your way to Algonquin Park. Order a dozen for take out.

Fantastic Butter Tarts with a very, very, wide range of choices. Butter Tarts & Tarts with all sorts of fillings that I've never heard of nor thought of and they're all really, really good - To bad they're over priced ! . . . & just about every time I drive by there they are never open ! . ....
