Had lunch here today with my 2 daughters, 1 vegetarian and 1 very fussy eater. All 3 of us left extremely happy. Kids menu very good with proper chicken breast and good options apart from chips. Good sized portions and tasty food. Deserts lovely and...well presented also coffee excellent, our waitress was extremely friendly and happy. Will definitely call again.More

Had a wonderful experience in this restaurant last evening. I took my adult son and younger nieces and nephews for a family meal. Pre booked the table and was warmly greeted on arrival by all the staff. Service and friendliness was extremely warm and genuine....Great menu selection For adults and children. There wasn’t one complaint had at the table of 7. Food was deliciously fresh and tasty. Will definitely visit again.More

Really good, reasonably priced breakfast. Staff very friendly! Breakfast served until 12, which is great as the lakehouse which is close by only serves breakfast until 11.

Went for a family dinner today after a stay in hidden Valley what a beautiful place the staff were excellent & very helpful. The food was perfect so tasty cudnt ask fot anymore. Will come again.

As a party of 11 staying in Hidden Valley, we arrived looking forward to a nice meal. We were made aware we would be split between two tables Before we arrived which was fine. We were informed On arrival that as someone had given away...one of our tables, half of us were To be seated on the opposite side of the restaurant. We were given one adults menu and one kids menu between 2 adults and 4 kids. We ordered drinks which 30 minutes later had not arrived!!! We were then moved to the table we should have been given. We had chicken wings to start and they were not great by any standards. Two of the kids had burgers and chips and both the burgers and buns were like a rock. The chips were also reheated. On complaining I was told the buns are frozen but the burgers are cooked fresh. It definitely did not seem like it. My son asked for some cheese to be melted on his chips and the chef refused to do it despite him putting cheese on the burger!!!! My daughter had fish fingers and she wasn’t sure what they were because they didn’t taste like fish fingers!!!!. They were cheap frozen fish fingers with very little fish and the mash was lumpy and dry. The other party had the same experience and the waitress did not seem to know who ordered what as she was putting food down in front of children and the taking it away to give to someone else. The kids didn’t even want to stay and have dessert. That alone should tell you all u need to know!!!!! I have never posted a negative reviews because I know things can go wrong when running a business but I have to stay the entire visit was a complete disappointment. The food was terrible and the service was appalling. We were staying in Hidden Valley and it was supposed to be a treat for the kids but the Lakehouse there serves much better food. I did complain on the day and the waitress who was very nice, did apologise but it was too little to late for us.More
