A nice little spot for supper - I recently tried the seafood tagliatelle with creme brulee for dessert. The service was very pleasant and the food was good. The dining area is a bit small so it can get a little noisy but the atmosphere...is nice.More

Good food, laid back atmosphere. Waitstaff were nice and friendly. Restaurant supporting Night the Light walk in Halifax was appreciated also.

Had the onion rings to start. Large order good thing we were sharing. They were delicious best onion rings I've ever had. Also had the turtleback burger it was so good big and juicy, perfect amount of toppings and the fries were hot and crispy...just the way I like them. Had turtle cheesecake which was highly overpriced and low quality and tasted grainy wouldn't get it again. Service was average considering it was busy and only 2 servers. Some things took a while but I wasnt in a hurry. Downfall was it was super cold even with a crowd and I had to keep my jacket on. And people came in back door but there was no signage in parking lot that would indicate it was ok to go in the back entrance so we had to go around to the front door.More

Dropped in Friday PM and discovered a real gem; even the decor is fun! I asked for a 'hoppy local beer' which cans still actually be difficult to find. Great server offered a sample and detailed us on the daily special. I loved my choice:...Fish tacos with a salad and my friend had a big BQ Chicken Fajita which was very good. Friendly staff, good menu choices, lots of safe parking.More

Great food and great service! We ordered the onion rings, burger and rigatoni pasta and local craft beer. Everything was lovely.

Visited on a Friday evening and overall a very good dinner. The appetizers, and the meals my wife, son and sister/brother-in-law had were good. The burger was done perfectly and served with fries. Nachos were another popular hit. Our server "Laura" was friendly and no...issues. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my meal of Guinness Beef. I was sure I had ordered this in the past and the beef was in a thick gravy served on a plate. What I got was a consume with four tiny pieces of beef served in a square bowl. Another square bowl with some mashed potatoes. Presentation not great, and what I got for my $14 (+tax + tip) was a bowl of soup. The menu states this meal is "rich brown gravy served with bread and a side". This was not gravy. This was consume, and there was no bread. I did not want to make a fuss, but I did comment to our server. I was very surprised that she was honest enough to say there had been issues with this meal selection. In other words, the issue I had is an issue that management had already been aware of, and yet nothing had been done to correct it. I find that fact more disappointing, as well as there was no offer to deduct this meal from my bill. I admit I did not ask for a new meal or ask for it to be removed from my bill. It's not my nature to be a demanding patron. But it would have been a nice gesture had this been offered. Lesson learned. Lots of other meal selections to enjoy, but avoid the Guinness Beef.More

My wife and I attended with a friend. Let’s start with the venue itself, fun, picturesque! The staff friendly and inviting! The food, my wife has allergies to say the least, she was able to have a delicious meal. The staff was great, the kitchen...was diligent and the food was delicious, she had the pan fried haddock !!!!! Wings, buttermilk chicken burger was amazing for us!More
