This is a very good place for seafood but their fish and chips are some of the best in the area. The batter is just right, not too thick and heavy. The chips are done nicely, although a bit on the greasy side. Best buy on the menu are the "haddie bits" - lots of smaller pieces of fish with... More

The seafood here is scrumptious. I enjoyed the dining atmosphere and wait staff. I love the location and wheel chair accessibility which is so important to me.

I have only ever gotten the haddie bits and/or fish and chips - it is always delicious!! Large portions for a fair price and the service is quick! Just picked up an order last night before heading over to Wendy's to grab a combo for someone else...my food from Vickie's was fresher, cheaper, and was prepared just as quick! I... More

Normally it is a real pleasure to eat there. Not today, as I mentioned to the server, the fries were like end of the bag, very small, dry, most 95% not eatable..... server said she will see what she can do. Never came back to apology. Requested a regular tea, what did I get? Hot water and no tea bag???... More

Not sure when they cha ged the oil in the fryers last, clams were greasy and batter too heavy! Poutine looked like green slime! First time for poutine with chicken gravy, YUCK! We had takeout and were quite a ways away from or would have taken food back! BAD!!

I read about Vickie's and decided to try it. Not disappointed. My wife had the seafood chowder which was loaded with fish, scallops etc.. I had the tis and chips. The fish was very fresh and delicious with just the right amount of batter to make a light, crispy coating. The fries were home made . . . . no... More

I am sitting in the parking lot as I write this. We just went in, the place was busy, we found a table on the other side and a woman with brassy colored hair said said " this side is closed" and walked away. She didn't offer to find us another spot or bother to redirect us. We left and... More
