We were recommended this restaurant by a local Sicilian who knows her food and wine and on an excursion to Etna we stopped off at this cosy restaurant on a wet and windy day in December. The lunch we ate was delicious and finely made at prices which were mid-range - so excellent value all round. Set in a picturesque... More

We command a regional wine that was tagged 16euro and we get an 25euro bottle served, I suspect the resto serving rigged wine bottles: the wine we get served was a bottle of 2015 Etna Crater white wine, but on the label there was an .../500 serial number not filled in, and the cork was covered with an red wax... Quite expensive, just a few dishes but tasty. Good if you plan to impress someone but order some wine (rose house wine is a good choice or bottled wine is better)

We found it a little strange having to ring the door bell to obtain entrance to the restaurant but it was very much worth it. The restaurant was very tastefully decorated and had a nice feel to it. Our waiter was very helpful, offering very good advice as to the choice of wine and dishes available. The menu comprised of... More

Been at Boccaperta twice, during our stay in Linguaglossa. It's definitely not the restaurant you expect to find in such a small town! The cheerful yet elegant location is a perfect frame for an exquisite adventure in Sicilian cuisine. The maitre was very helpful on driving through the menu and the wine list. My GF had Parmesan aubergine, while I... More

We had an incredible dinner here one night and wish we could have dined here again. The food was delicious and Rosario, the owner, is a warm, friendly host. Truly a memorable meal during a three week trip with MANY wonderful meals. Can't wait to return!

Visited while staying at Villa Neri (thus seems to. Be a common theme) but this was wonderful. Their 0 km menu is al, locally sourced including the wines. Great local food, well presented. Well worth a visit.

We were staying at the Villa Neri Resort and Spa, who suggested we try Boccaperta out. It was so good we returned a second time during our stay. The service was impeccable, the food was very good (since they do not have large refrigerators, they only serve the food acquired the same day), the menu changes every week, the wine... More

We had a wonderful dinner in this restaurant. The setting is nice and quiet. It is a great place for a nice romantic dinner or with friends. The food was excellent (the pistaccio pasta were delicious), the waiter was very nice and welcoming and the prices reasonable. A true find in this small city.
