Compared to any other restaurant in the area, Sushi Meshi is an exception: it is a family-run all you can eat sushi restaurant, which continues to reinvent itself over the years. The menu has evolved in step with the times, over the years other outlets also opened – always in this province, and today it presents something that we have only seen here: the possibility of having a totally vegan menu, without sacrificing the appetizing aspect of classic sushi.
As for the location, it is well-kept down to the last detail: from wallpaper to neon lights, it was one of the first sushi restaurants to dictate this taste. The environment is intimate and reserved, with soft light, but also suitable for groups and families in the veranda space.
It is also a stone's throw from the sea, perfect location for a walk after dinner.
The service is always prepared and courteous; it happened a few times that we did not get some ordered dishes, but it was not a problem. We really enjoyed the branded and curated paper menus, which also featured the well-written English wording.
There would be so much to tell, coming here once is not enough.

We tasted all kinds of dishes, tempura, ravioli, sushi and sashimi, all really good, very fresh fish. The positive side is that everything is done at the moment, the negative side after the second order the service is a little slow. It's also a shame about the wine, there were few wines of those listed on the wine list, a single red (justifiable given that the restaurant mainly serves fish and we are out of season) served cold (not so justifiable). However, I would go back again and again .

This was the best vegan Sushi I ever had without exaggerating!
The warm family welcome and service topped up our experience. Fresh hand made sushi made instantly, the combination of flavours are superb and with vaste choice.
I can’t recommend enough!

Only two stars for this place as it did not live up to expectations despite positive reviews from customers of the site.
We showed up on the spot as a couple without Reservation and our request to be able to dine out in the tables was rejected justifying that the tables were not set... we looked a little surprised because we do not consider it a particular commitment to put two dishes. We agree to dine inside, not bad variety of dishes and assortment definitely different from the usual. The quality I find mirror to many other mid-low end sushi, rice visibly with a lot of sugar, fried arrived almost cold and quite heavy, the fish good but commercial. We appreciated the offer of digestives. I don't think we're going back.

I have never eaten such good sushi. It is not the classic restaurant like the big chains. The ingredients are zero kilometer, made with love and you can feel the quality. Located a little outside the city, the all you can eat menu is 24.5€ for an adult. The fish are fresh, there are plenty of choices with signature dishes like shrimp sushi with a little bit of truffle, original! Small mistake in some dishes and some oversights but nothing serious and it may be due to translation. In short I recommend to change pasta or pizza even if it does not reason too local 😊

Finally, together with my friends, we managed to have dinner in this place in Carrara discovered through social media. The location is very aesthetic and well cared for in all its details. The staff are very friendly, fun and helpful and the food is really great.
However, the vegan menu (all you can green) deserves a special mention: literally the best sushi I have ever eaten. The products are all of high quality, the sauces are fantastic and of their own production but the real discovery was the combinations of the ingredients... a detail not to be taken for granted for a veg sushi.
If you love your palates, you absolutely have to go and try them.
Truly our most sincere compliments to all the staff, we will definitely be back!

The All You Can Eat experience in a plant-based way is so unique and unmistakable that we periodically travel 300km to be able to enjoy it in every way. We went to this sushi place because it has a vegan menu. Very good for my daughter
The normal menu has nothing special but the tartares are very good. The tempura prawns are also good. Unfortunately only the vegan dishes were brought to the start with a long wait for the others.
