At the spur of the moment, my family decided to have Indian food. We have not been to Karaikudi for a while by now. We went in and found it pretty empty. It slowly filled up with people as our dinner progressed. We ordered deep-fried bitter gourd, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, cauliflower + peas masala, palak paneer, plain biryani rice,... More

You can find very good tandoori rotis here which are not half cooked naan like other places. They give you whole wheat bread and many kinds of vegetable curries. Food is somewhat closer to Indian food you get back in india

Naturally our search for a good Indian lead us to Little Indian. After having a stroll through the streets we didn't really know which one to try however it was evident that Karaikudi had to be good as loads of locals seemed to be pouring in and out. When we entered we where notified it would be about 20 minutes... More

I picked what was described as a mild curry and ended up sweating and crying. Taste was good, but just unbelievably spicy. Girlfriend enjoyed her curry though. Amazing sizzling brownie for dessert.

Enormous amount of food for a quarter of the price I would pay at home. Description on the menu sells itself short. My only dislike was some type of sour soup, but there was so much food that I couldn't possibly finish all of it, and I just skipped that one after a taste. definitely recommend!

Menu unreliable. On 1/10/16, no biryani at 8pm. On 2/10/16, no dosa being served. For a restaurant that serves good food, this is BAD!

Had a simple bday celebration for my mom. Not too bad, the taste was good and affordable price. 5 of us and bill came up to RM107/-. Service was a little slow but we tolerated due to it was fully packed.

Great food, very authentic... chefs from Karaikudi/ Chettinad, India :) It does get crowded during peak hours, weekends and public holidays... but the hassle is worth it! Decent service too. Their sizzling brownie is (surprisingly) good and fun to eat! Other must tries: biriyani, naan, mushroom & other vegetarian curries

It was packed with people knowing Penang on weekends, what else during public holidays! The food is ok, loved the Mango Lassi, Chicken 65 and Prawn Masala very much! The not so nice part was, flies all over the place, service is excellent
