I read some reviews and expected a fine dining place... however I encountered decent food but nothing special at all.. the prices are fair but as I said don't expect any fine dining or such. it is just standard Honduran cuisine...

Even if you're not a fan of Honduran food, you will like it here. They offer the basic typical dishes and a few other ones, they prepare them well and serve them with lots of love. The staff is amazing and so is the setting.

Good restaurant with vegetarian dishes. Reasonable priced. Plus 2 super cute pets. Portions good be little bigger.

Had our meals here while on a Habitat for Humanity build near Gracias. Excellent coffee,wonderful food,lovely view of the city and great staff

Relaxing restaurant with a beautiful view and a great value. They have a nice variety and their hot chocolate will warm you up on a cold day. They also have coffee beans for sale.

We were in Gracias Honduras for a week on a mission trip. Half of our group stayed at Guancascos. I stayed at a nearby hotel. We had every breakfast and dinner served at Guancascos. Since we had a large group everything was served buffet style....The food was all excellent. I can't say that we had a bad meal. It ranged from spaghetti and fettuccini, grilled tilapia, pork steaks, chicken with rice and beans, to Honduran style burritos. My favorite was the meal with chicken burritos. We also had chips and salsa and beans in an enafre. I am getting hungry thinking about all the good food. They have a menu that looks great too. Plan on visiting if you are in Honduras. The staff is very friendly and there is an amazing view but be sure to stay for the great food.More
