We had a fantastic dinner here tonight. The waiter greeted us warmly and gave us a comprehensive overview of all the specials available and guided us through the menu. My partner had the seafood linguini to start which was delicious. He went on to have...the special oxtail and I had the pork cheek - both were phenomenal (you could have eaten either dish with a spoon). We then finished off with the cheesecake which came with a gorgeous scoop of handmade ice cream and a shot of lemon liqueur. Clearly, a lot of thought and work has gone into each dish they serve. In addition, the ingredients used were evidently very fresh and locally sourced. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special treat.More

Excellent food and service as always. Have been multiple times to the restaurant and always left happy! The food is amazing and the waiter is very nice! I love the olives and gazpacho served at the start, such a nice touch. This time I had...a scallop starter special followed by the fillet steak, husband had the ricotta and spinach ravioli followed by the fillet steak. Excellent food as usual.More

This is a restaurant not to miss. If you are looking for real food, this is your place. The service and food was faultless. Wish we could come back every week. We tried tempura prawns, cod & spinach crepes, goats cheese & black pudding for...starters. Then for mains I had the steak with chimichuri and the rest of my party had the 24 hour slow cooked pork knuckle. We have been dreaming about this meal ever since!!More

We went to this restaurant purely based on the reviews and I must say it didn’t disappoint. We had a lovely dinner going for the deep fried goat cheese with black pudding, Galician octopus, slow cooked oxtail and the cod risotto. Really compliments to the...chef, lovely presentation of the dishes we had a nice amuse bouche, beetroot gaspacho and downed the meal with a nice crisp la Florida wine. The crème brûlée exquisite. The waiter was very friendly and attentive and made us feel very welcomeMore

Such a great find, definitely the best restaurant in costa tequise, about 20 min walk from the main town but very worth it. Inventive choices on the menu, loved the clam soup with white beans and the Belly pork was outstanding. My husband had tempura...prawns which were fab and the hake which was delicious. Great service and good banter with the staff. Quite a small restaurant so i would suggest booking in advance. We were 87E for 2 courses and a mid range bottle of wine. Nice extra touch of a muse bouche of gazpacho and olives. We ate here twice but next year we intend eating here many more times.More

We have just eaten at El Navarro for the first time this holiday and it certainly lived up to our memory of it from2018. After the complimentary shots of gazpacho soup and olives we had the garlic prawns and baked goats cheese with black pudding...respectively. The garlic prawns were still sizzling and were juicy and flavoursome. The goats cheese was less moist than we were expecting, but still tasty and the quantity of black pudding seemed slightly excessive, but still it made a great starter. We both had shoulder of lamb for our main course. It was cooked to perfection - really succulent and the flavour was outstanding. The jus was delicious. The portions were too big for us to finish, so we took a doggy bag home with us. The house wine was extremely good and altogether it was a fantastic meal. We would highly recommend El Navarro.More

This is where trip advisor really helps, we were looking for a good all round restaurant and this one came up. We booked on line which I would recommend you do as we watched at least 3 couples turned away on a Monday night. I...can imagine weekends are even busier. My husband and I both had the smoked salmon special which was delicious, for main course I had the oxtail and my husband had belly pork both excellent, the oxtail is cooked for 7 hours in red wine and the sauce was full of flavour but didn’t over power the meat, both dishes were generous portions. I’m not sure how we managed it but we also had a cheesecake and creme brûlée, the creme brûlée would have benefitted from being more firmly set but even that didn’t distract from a lovely meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant which seemed to be visited by regulars, further endorsing the quality of the food.More

What wonderful food served by very attentive yet not overbearing staff. We had lasted visited in late 2018 and were interested to see if the standards had been maintained. The answer was an unequivocal yes. Thoroughly recommended

We paid €193 for 4 people. 3 courses all round, 2 bottles of white wine and 1 red plus 4 coffees. Well worth it. We went back again a couple of nights later.
