A good place with a nice view of the sea. It was decorated in the traditional Greek blue colors. Me and my friend had the sea bass with a Greek salad. Quality wise, the food was good, however, it delayed a long time before it was served, and the prices were a bit costly. Of course, in relation to the... More

We had a lovely dinner in Skaramagas restaurant today. Very nice fisherman's spaghetti and mussel risotto. We liked the food, the service, the Greek outlooks of the restaurant very much.

Unfortunately the worst meal of our week long stay in santorini. We had been told by our hotel that this was a good local restaurant to eat at but really didn't enjoy it and left within 45 minutes of arriving and took 2 bottles of wine back to our room to drown our sorrows.. We didn't get any hello on... More

We went there for lunch after the host attempted to hassle us in. I was desperately looking for good bifteki and this guy promised us that they had it and that he would make it completely fresh for us. Once inside we got the worst food we got in all of Santorini. Nothing was fresh, especially not the bifteki. I... More

Gyros was deconstructed for some unknown stupid reason. Lukewarm pork-kebab was nothing like the real thing. Also quite pricey, which makes this place even more absurd.

We have been here a number of times for both lunch and dinner - by far the best traditional seafood on the strip. Service is great, food is sensational and house wine is good. If you are looking for a place that serves great Greek food instead of foul burgers and bad pizza, this is the place!

When there was no fresh crab for our pasta, we asked timidly about what lobster would cost. The waiter said, the dish for 2 price and we said excellent. Then 5 minutes later he arrived with an uncooked lobster and said it was a bit bigger might cost another 3 or 4 euro, and we said ok. Then he said... More

We were surprised when we received the bill. The most expensive meal we had all holiday in Santorini and one of the worst tasting. Avoid this place!

Description
At the center of Kamari, the most popular beach of Santorini, a blue-white restaurant, Skaramagas, one of the oldest in the area, offers you the tastiest hospitality. The green yard in the shadow, the tables at the waterfront, the traditional Greek tablecloths, the blue chairs, the clean and friendly environment, and the quick and helpful service add to your pleasure. The recipes are light and the vegetarians find many dishes to choose from.Inspired traditional Greek cuisine with special emphasis on the appetizers, "mezedes", is what makes the restaurant different. Here you can taste Santorinian dishes made of local products, like fava beans, cherry tomatoes, caper and kaltsounia. Don't miss the fresh fish, the Mediterranean lobster and the delicious seashell stuffed with spinach and seafood gratin. The filets are special and the wine list includes the best Santorinian and Greek wines. You are invited to enjoy your meal by the sea, from noon overlooking Anafi Island, till midnight under the summer moonlight.
