Absolutely amazing cocktails. One of the best old fashioned cocktails I've ever tried. The 'que come bar' cocktail was brilliant. Definitely will be back again

Very welcoming by the staff who included new personnel that evening. Drinks served downstairs in bar area, the dinner upstairs. Lovely menu, and beautiful served dinner. Wine also excellent. Couldn't book the 1 star Michelin, but frankly, this must be at least as good.

Rowleys is the sister restaurant of Fischlers at Baslow Hall and is a star of the food scene in Baslow. I thoroughly enjoyed the starter of haddock risotto with a soft boiled poached egg and this was followed by a superb 10oz sirloin steak with hand cut chips and salad. An excellent sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream rounded... More

First visited here a couple of years ago and was impressed then. Visited for lunch twice recently during a stay in the area. Very popular spot. Excellent lunch menu which offers 2 courses for £16.50. Had the bream on the first occasion followed by the lemon parfait. The bream was very tasty and made a change from the usual fish... More

We called in for lunch whilst staying in the area and were very glad we did. Food was super and very well priced. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day. I had the Sea Bass and fish and chips -not on the same day I hasten to add - that would be a bit much even for... More

We were nearly put off going by the harsh overhead lighting, but we're very glad we went. We walked in off the street, and were apologetically offered the last table, next to the door - it was fine. The food was unexpectedly excellent - seasonal menu and things taste like themselves. The beer was in good condition, wine list was... More

We were on holiday for 8 days at the Caravan Club Site at Chatsworth and during our stay we ate out at various pubs in the area, we visited Rowley's on the last day of our holiday and I have to say it was the best meal that we had had all week, nice atmosphere, friendly courteous staff, we will... The menu here looks interesting and the chef has a good history. The waitresses were friendly. We were seated upstairs at the restaurant and were the first to arrive there - all other diners were downstairs. The heating was not turned on until after we were seated and I wished I had more than my wool jumper and coat to... More
