We all enjoyed our food here. It is a hotel restaurant and it gives that atmosphere. We thoroughly liked our evening out here to eat and they took last minute group. We've voted the scallop meal and the burger as best.

The Brinkley Resort is close to the Methven village and handy to Mt Hutt. Each block has access to a shared laundry and drying room. Studio room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Room is a little small when bringing two persons worth of ski gear in from your car. Very friendly and accommodating staff. On site spa... More

Warm and cosy once you got into you room and turned the heater on, closed the curtains. It was hard to find our room in the dark with no lighting to guide us - we were told we were upstairs so was looking for this only to find we were infact downstairs. Rooms were smallish but ok for what we... More

Stayed in a studio and was average. Bathroom tired. Hardly anyone there as summer. Thought we would have been given a mountain view as very few people there. Liked it as it was quiet but sadly restaurant doesn't open when it is quiet / off season. No welcome and no how was it when we paid and left. Thought pleasantries... More

Beautiful food with lovely service from the staff and a great wine list. Was a bit busy on 2 of the 3 of our visits but expected that due to being winter.Cosy fireplace and loved the couches in front of them after we sent the kids home! Recommend.

Located a short walk in to town and also having a bar/restaurant on site makes this place a good spot for budget skiing accommodation. The rooms are small but they still have everything you need. This motel resort is a short drive from Mt Hutt.

The Owner/Manager Paul and his wife are delightful. So friendly, helpful and welcoming. The spa pools were great, our apartment was fantastic for our family of 4 and had a fab view of the mountains. I would recommend a Mountain view apartment.

Really well equipped unit . Comfortable and warm. If you can't manage the stairs with your cases be sure to ask for the ground floor as the stairs are outside and quite steep. The restaurant does not open in the non skiing season. Stayed there twice now . Be sure to go in yo Methven to the Brown Pub for... More
