Cute place, wish we had more time to sit outdoors in the garden. Very friendly staff, clean dining area(s) and good food. As others have mentioned, its a nice location to take a break from driving.
I always enjoy having lunch at Verde Café when I'm visiting family in Timaru and this time was no exception. A lot of choice in the cabinet for savoury & sweet food and the food was very tasty. Good coffees to finish
Stunning garden location, very friendly service, relaxing atmosphere Food & coffee were delicious & to a very high standard - cannot fault it in anyway The cat would also a nice addition in the garden - what a cutie :)
Just stopped in this town for a break from driving and saw this place. It has a lovely garden setting with beautiful native birds which was very soothing. The raspberry chocolate brownie was delicious. They have soy and almond milk.

My friends steak sandwich was tough and two slices of bread and lettuce didn't make the eating any easier. Vegetable soup was okay. Caesar Salad was tasty as was my salmon dish - though there was rather a lot of potato. Coffees were good! Lovely...More
