Sands is gone. Nice coffee. Menu looked interesting and service was friendly. Covered outside area now with a large wooden pull across door to keep weather out on a cold February day.

Cleared our table and we got menus and setup high chair. Went up to order and they said "The kitchen is closed so we can catch up". Which is strange because the place wasn't even full. Used to love this place when it was Sands now changed to Smash Pipe. Never going back

Now called Smash Pipi. Very friendly staff, good coffee and the best donuts ever. The breakfasts look really nice too, can't wait to go back and have one.

First off - this place is now called Smash Pipi. Everything was just average. Coffee was ok - not great, just ok. I got a salted caramel chocolate cake which looked amazing but was unfortunately bland and dry. I probably won't return.

Tried it: not significantly marvellous enough to make one go back, - so I'm returning to my usual El Barrio or Lazy Lizard. However, it's only recently opened, so will probably retry it next month to see how it is.

Terrible food in an awful café. I had the coronation chicken in a kind of wrap, and the plastic corner that had been cut off the sauce and was in my chicken!

Strange heading but we like to have a scone with our morning coffee and this was one of the better scones. Quite a large outdoor area with NO SMOKING ALLOWED. We loved and appreciated that. However the large area did encourage noisey familys. So maybe not ideal for a quiet coffee.

My coffee group enjoy Sands for their great coffee and food plus friendly staff. Their out side court yard is great for groups and families plus taking the dog Nothing is any trouble to order if not on the daily board. Great cafe.

I wish I had noticed the (what looked like ) two day old wilted salad in the cabinet BEFORE ordering my lunch and handing over my money. My food came out complete with old tasting fries on a dirty plate.....YES THATS RIGHT.....DIRTY PLATE! Needless to say I didnt eat much of my lunch even though I was absolutely starving. The... We ordered x2 burger meals. The place was busy so we thought....popular. wrong wrong wrong. The burgers were awful, my patties was a supermarket bland pattie, the cheese was processed slices, the lettuce was very old. To top it off my wife's plate was dirty! !! We complained, how did they make it up to us since I just gave... More
