I read the reviews of the other Cassoulet restaurants here and thought this sounded good. And it was! We had the Cassoulet menu €25 each for the salad starter, shared Cassoulet and dessert. There are other options on the menu. The waiter served the cassoulet out and explained what was in it. Now we've had Cassoulet before but this was... More

Went there for a lunch business. The Cassoulet and crème Catalane were amazing. Recommend this place.

We were pointed in the direction of this little gem by the base of Le Boat and were we delighted that we chose to take their advice! The cassoulet was simply to die for! We had never tasted one before but later that evening we had another one at another restaurant and were so disappointed in comparison! The service, the... More

Do not be miss-led by the bistrot look of this restaurant. We have eaten many cassoulet over the past 30 odd years but this one is to die for. David spends most of November and December in Chicago where the locals get the chance to eat this Languedocien delicacy. His menu also offers some great alternatives to cassoulet if so... More

Ate here upon the recommendation of Trip Advisor...wow, the reviews weren't wrong. A great restaurant, with friendly atmosphere, good location in town, a waiter who couldn't do enough for you, and a menu which provided something for all. We had the cassoulet, it was the best!!! Chef David is a real character and is happy to chat after the meal...we... More

My husband rated this as the best cassoulet he has eaten ( and he has had a few) I also loved my mussels cooked in a garlic, lemon and coriander sauce, it was the best i have ever had. Service was very good although on a quiet night. Both the waiter and the chef spoke english

We stopped in for lunch at the end of our 2 week Canal Du Midi trip. The restaurant opens at 12 and by 12:20 most of the tables were taken. We had the 15 Euro and 25 Euro formule meals. My husband loved the mussels as his starter. He also had the cassoulet which was delicious. I had the fish... More

We were 3 couples travelling in France and had tried a few cassoulets on our journey but this was the ultimate cassoulet experience! The owner and chef, David, has followed and enhanced the recipe that has been in his family for generations and it was to die for! He was a real character and interacted with his clientele at the... You know you want it. Had to have the cassoulet, and it was fantastic. Wonderful crust. OK, I've had better duck elsewhere, but this was the definitive version. Mrs 5* had an interesting (in a great way) chicken dish with maple syrup and cream sauce. We met Chef David, who looks like a member of the coffin cheaters. The music... More
