Me and my dad have had a great dinner here! The chicken we ordered was very tasty and not dry at all. Also the desert, ice cream with fruit, was very fresh and definitely self made. The service was excellent, the personnel was very friendly! We had a great time here! I recommend this place if you visit Westerbork.

Popped in for a quick lunch, the salad we chosed was fresh and surprising. The service was quick and gentle.

This place was pretty nice. They had about 8 different Trappist beers on tap and they were relatively inexpensive. They also had big bottles available for purchase.

Came for the English speaking tour, but had lunch before. Good, solid lunch fare and a nice flight of beers. The tour itself, however, despite the website claim, was in Dutch. We were given a book with a brief description of the tour, but the guide was clearly going well beyond it, to the point that one Dutch couple began... More

A visit to the La Trappe brewery is a must for any beer lover or even part-time beer enthusiast. The setting for this brewery is magnificent, the monastery is simply stunning and the grounds even more so. We visited in winter and it was still beautiful. It would be absolutely stunning in spring/summer! I would recommend taking one of the... More

Went to visit La Trappe today and tasted two of their beers. Having these exceptional beers on tap is a real privilege. Highly recommended for any beer enthusiast. Bitterballen were great for snacking on whilst drinking our beers.

My partner and I were lucky enough to have some local friends recommend and take us here. The surroundings are gorgeous and we took a lot of photos as it was such a beautiful sunny day. If you want food, be sure to arrive in good time before closing as the food is well worth having and if I remember... More

It was a sunny day so the scenery was even more beautiful! We didn't took a tour in the monastery cause you have to book in advance! We had some cheese and a plate with cheese! The cheese was young gouda, old gouda, spiced gouda and gouda! Not bad at all! You are in the Netherlands!! The beers amazing! A... More

We had a delicious dinner (as well as breakfast) included in our package and it did not disappoint. My husband upgraded to a filet mignon and it was done to perfection, while I chose two appetizers. We just paid the difference.
