Stopped here for a drink after a member of staff enticed us in with promise of good prices on bottles of thatchers. My husband is a cider drinker and was thirsty so we ordered a cider, a beer and a plate of nachos for 1. When the drinks arrived the bottle of thatchers was a small bottle (380ml, elsewhere 500ml)... This was our most frequently visited restaurant during our January stay in Playa Blanca, purely because the menu is so extensive and so reasonably priced, we just wanted to try as much as we could in the time! The highlight was definitely the fish soup starter ( don't bother with any other soups!) but their pizzas according to our son... More

If you want superb food, affirdable prices and fantastic service please visit. We visit every year and this restaurant is our absolute favourite! Great food at exceptionally reasonable prices. Staff are warm and friendly and Tony has vast knowledge in the restaurant and sommelier business. When you visit you may notice lots of customers who come in that have become... More

We had lunch here while on a trip up from Puerto Del Carmen for the day. We were attracted to the restaurant by the fact that it was full of locals rather than tourist and it offered tapas at a reasonable price which is rare in tourist restaurant. There is no beautiful sea view as it’s on a busy main... More

Not fine dining by any means but we eat at Tipico regularly on our family holidays as so much choice on the menu and everything is so reasonably priced for the quality you receive. Service can vary depending on how busy they are but we haven't had a bad meal, a fillet steak cooked to perfection at 10 euros with... More

The Tipico has a large varied menu with everything including local dishes, fish, steak and even curry. We ate here a few times and everything was tasty and enjoyed by all. Highly recommend the fish soup. The steak with sauce of your choice for 7.75 euros was very good as well.

This place is always busy so decided to give it a go despite being to playa blanca loads of times. Very reasonably priced. tbone steak very good , lamb chops very good. However, frozen chips and something resembling vegetables that appeared to come out of a jar/can is not. My daughter had some kind of chicken stew which looked unpleasant and... More

This place is always bustling and with good reason. The staff are very good and very friendly towards children. Plus it gets you away from all the Englush people that sit on the front all day letting their kids eander off while they get razzed up. When we arrived there was no room but the waiter told an old couple... More

Ate there twice during our stay in Playa Blanca in December. I had Lamb Stew both times it was that good and my wife had different meals which were also very good. Not expensive and very good value - better value than restaurants along the promenade. Definitely one to put on your list
