We chose this restaurant because I recognised it as one I'd seen high on Tripadvisor reviews.
It was packed inside, so we chose a table outside.
We ordered drinks when we sat down and about 10 mins later someone came to take our food order...- we reminded them about the drinks order. Some time later when I called the waitress she just said (very condescendingly) 'It's been ordered, my colleague is bringing it' - it arrived 15-20 mins after we'd ordered it.
We got our staters about 30 mins after ordering them, and as we were about to leave money for the starter & bottle of wine, & go to Burger King across the road, our main courses finally arrived - at least an hour after we'd sat down.
My husband had salmon which was nice. I had Swordfish with but butter which was edible, but quite tasteless.
People inside seemed to be getting ok service and we noticed the staff chatting with some of them, but we found them quite unfriendly and actually snobbish - as if they were surviving on their good reviews.
Would definitely not go back!More
