Tucked away by a railway track is this thriving busy restaurant. My husband had been before on a business trip and said how good it was. Immediately when you arrive you are greeted and made welcome by very efficient waiters and waitresses. If you like...fish this is a must to go to. For starters my husband had the large plate with a selection of raw fish, and I had some beautiful big tepid prawns served on a salade of vegatables with a lovely dressing. Then for main course we shared a whole Branzino (Seabass) cooked in a salt crust, exquisite!! Certainly would go back again if passing that area. They also served little appatizers in between courses, which were very nice. Excellent food and service.More

My husband and I have been to many restaurants in Italy, I have the pleasure to say this is by far the very best in every way; the ambience the staff and the food is number 1 (compliments to the chef) -...I urge all to go to locanda colla an incredible and sensational experience as we have come all the way from australia and I will definitely return

Even if not easy to be found Locanda Colla is a great place. It has Beautiful interiors, part of a very old house station. Service is discrete but it pays attention to every small sign by the client (even if the restaurant was almost full)....Food is good and fresh also fish, for sure not the easiest to be found. Portions are huge and also hungry people can be easily satisfied. Good selection of local grappas, a must!More
We went to this restaurant after recommendations, on our first night in Verona. We were so impressed we went back again two nights later. The food was interesting, perfectly sized serves and good value for money. Our waiters, Francesca & Mattia gave us great advice...about the food and wine, were informative, friendly and attentive.More
We went there for dinner after reading sooo many good reviews about this place. Frankly I doubt there are many expert or objective people out there prepared and educated enough to be able to correctly review a restaurant. This is my opinion, after all, but...people consider me a good judge when it comes to express a real and clear opinion about restaurants..
I am not complaining about the food quality, but their service, which in our opinion, was simply not acceptable for the price you pay. Too many waiters bumping into each other, orders were taken after 20 minutes we sat down at the table, plates wete taken away before all guests finished their meals, in few words we were quite disappointed. Without considering that the size of appetizers was really small, type of finger-food sort of speaking. In San Bonifacio there are better places for the same quality-price.More
I had dinner in this restaurant last night with my husband and our Italian friend. This was my first visit but my husband and friend have dined here several times for business.
On arrival we were given complimentary prosecco followed by a small pancake filled with...ricotta and then some very tasty ham..again complimentary ( amuse bouche) I chose the scallops which were served in their shell and there were four large scallops served in different ways.I then had the clam prawn mussels dish served with a delicious tomato sauce, one of the best seafood dishes I have tasted.I then had a chocolate mousse ,which was complimentary and then I was too full up for anything else apart from a lemoncello. Would definately recommend and hope to be returning.More
