This is not the best ice cream in Italy by any stretch of the imagination. I have had MUCH MUCH better and positively delicious ice cream in Tuscany and Cambridge! This was distinctly average. Don't waste you time and money.

We were quite disappointed...based on the reviews "best icecream in Italy" or somewhere written also "best icecream in the world" we were expecting more.

We read of this place in Italy for the Gourmet Traveler, Fred Plotkin. Unbelievable gelato. The coconut and the manderino were our favorites. Right near the Cathedral and a showing of a Leonardo Di Vinci self portrait. Lovely town. Great ice cream.

This is a nice cafe which has friendly staff ad is not (too) over-priced. We went there a couple of times and the pastries were ok if not exceptional
