The Cottage is a smallish cafe type of place. Even though we ate here 4 times, I wish I could remember the owners name but a nicer woman you could not meet. She & her staff are warm & friendly. The food was amazing especially...the Fisherman's pie and the views of Slievemore and Dugort beach while you eat are amazing. Highly highly recommended.More

We have just had a delicious bite to eat in the cottage restaurant. Stunning setting and friendly, helpful staff. If you come across this gem on a sunny day do not pass it! Most importantly the food was very good, it arrived promptly & was...really tasty.More

My husband and I spent a week in this lovely cottage on Achill Island. Our host, Paris, was very responsive to any questions we had and Sabine, the housekeeper, made sure that we were comfortable. We were greeted upon arrival with a chilled bottle of...Prosecco and a brochure describing activities around the island and restaurants that were nearby. We definitely recommend this comfortable cottage in a beautiful location at the base of Slievemore Mountain on Achill Island. Can’t forget to mention the darling sheep that are everywhere! Love them!More

A great little cafe. Waitresses kept on their toes by the owner/manager. Lots of small places like this forget to sweep 🧹 after a family have been seated and never been in a cafe that steams the glasses clean, but the Cottage did. Good Americano...and Cake 🍰 The breakfast 🍳, snack and lunch 🍴 options looked good to.More

Had lunch today with a friend and our children, and although it was busy at lunch time, the waitresses could not have done more for us. The food was very tasty, served with a smile, and the tea and coffee was perfect. The desserts were...all scoffed, I had the raspberry and chocolate cheesecake, a very generous slice, and it was just right! Caoimhe, one of the waitresses, was extra attentive to both of my children, and my eldest child just loved her, Caoimhe was just brilliant at keeping her entertained!More

We found this little gem after being told about it from the owners of the seal caves campsite which is just down the road. We had coffee and the most beautiful homemade scones. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit when in Achill...and the beautiful view is an added bonus!More

Nice seafood with a nice view. A short stroll from the nearby campsite at seal caves. Recommend the seafood pie or achill mackerel.

We enjoyed our visit here with a family of 5. Food was delicious. They accommodated my husband with a full breakfast even though it had finished up. Food fresh and very good portion sizes. Would highly recommend a visit. Stuffing views from windows overlooking the...sea.More

Completely overrated - the staff were nice and pleasant- the food however was nothing special- a panini menu is not something to write home about and clearly there wasn’t a system to cater for the number of people who wanted a table

We had lunch today in The Cottage, Duggort. It was very busy but we got a table immediately. We were greeted on entering by friendly staff. Our order was taken promptly and was served in about 8 minutes. The food was delicious and large portion...sizes were served. I would not hesitate to go back again and I highly recommend this place for a bite to eat. Excellent staff..More
