We ate very tasty salmon pie and a piece of awesome Kinuski cake. The athmosphere is exceptionally beautiful. We highly recommend this!

Restaurant Kinuskilla has a good lunch! Also the environment is nice and a little bit rustic, but nice. Parking places are in the upper level of parking area. Menu is in Facebook.
Unique place for light dining with friends. Great desserts. Not for fine dining or romantic dinners.
the cake was awesome, and the ceasar salad was too. the service was a bit slowly. i think the prices were good in there.
Don't be fooled by the modest exterior of the building. Inside the building an excellent cafeteria, lunch restaurant and confectionery. Nice and warm atmosphere with genuine and friendly staff. We took a salad buffet and it was really good! In case of need you can...even buy e.g., chicken breast to upgrade your sallad. The other alternative was salomon soup. We couldn't resist to buy a piece of cake from huge selection of cakes. Really tasty. Highly recommended.More
Food was very good or excellent (4 to 5 stars). Service attitude was average (3 stars), a little low service and at first they forgot my order. Facilities were average or good (3 to 4 stars), athmosphere cozy and friendly, music was not too loud.
Many delicious cakes, generous big slices. Affordable prices. Good salads for lunch. Great cinnamon rolls, too, if they happen to have then.
One of best on area Very Good food and weekends they have buffet, not sure IF they mon-Fri And for everybody, weekends maybe better Make reservation
We went to have a good coffee and delicious cake. I read previous reviews and got the picture that this place I need to see. I am glad we went there because I do not regret it. Place was a bit hidden but beautiful. I...liked the decorations, the walls, menu, cakes. Staff was friendly and young :-) latte was good and blackcurrant-mocca cake was so good! I definitely recommend it to others. I know that many people have not been here. Shoud I go there again? Well yes, but I would like to search new places and cafeterias also. I rather explore new than keep on eye on one thing. But yes- Kinuskilla is one of my favourite cafeterias I have been. Cheers:-)More
On a road trip, looking for a quick lunch, we stumbled on the Saturday brunch of Kinuskilla. Excellent food, good coffee, friendly staff. The churros with trimmings for dessert! We got in without a reservation at 11:30 but by noon the place was filling up.
Their webpages don´t tell much so it was exiting to see the restaurant that is located in some old factory building. Once we got there, our attention was caught with the large variety of huge slices of all sorts of cakes. They looked really tasty....But we went in for the Saturday brunch. It was quite crowded so for larger groups you will need to make a reservation. Food looked good and tasted amazing. That day they were serving tacos you could fill with grilled chicken, pulled pork or beans and a variety of salads and some fries and mac and cheese to go along. They had a good selection of home made salsas, and their guacamole was just perfect. Everything was fresh and of good quality. For dessert there was indulgent chocolate cake and churros. I would certainly like to visit again.More
Place is worth visiting, partly renovated milieu is lovely. When it comes to food and service, there is room for improvements. We went to have some crepes on Sunday, but were told that crepes weren't available anymore. Some other people just before us had got...their crepes, though. We got salad instead, but roast beef salad was packed with two different kinds of onions. Cheese cake with cherries didn't really have cherries at all.More
Kinuskilla is just half an hour's drive from Helsinki, and definately worth making that trip. The interior of Kinuskilla resembles the trend seen past year in the UK coffee shops, i.e. beautiful blend of old mismatch chairs and tables in an old building. On a...sunny day one however wants to sit outside, in the terrace that is situated in an old building that is now missing the roof. The old walls bring shade from the sun, and together with the colourful set of chairs and tables, and the beautiful neighbouring buildings in the isolated, peaceful surroundings provide very idyllic surroundings for lunch, and/or coffee/tea and cakes. The offering has a good spread of savoury, and sweet choices. The sweet choices look (and are!) so good that it is difficult to settle for just one (we did not either!). Service is friendly, and good. On weekdays the place closes at 3pm, but on weekends hours are longer.More
Hidden, quiet and also quite idyllic place in Kellokoski. All cheesecakes appeared to be different from one another so ask what you fancy. The food was average in Finnish standards. Bread that came with was very tasty! Only major complaint was filthy drinking glasses, they...were all VERY dirty, one even had lipstick on it. Asked for another ones, they were dirty too and that's why we didn't drink at all. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Recommended!More
Our group of nine had an amazing brunch at this well-appointed, bright, comfortable lake-side restaurant. We were a mix of Finns and Americans, adults and kids, and we found the buffet offered something for everyone to enjoy. A light-hearted, relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!
