Great freshly cooked food by the sea.

We happened across this beach bar at lunchtime when visiting Gosier for the day. There were more visually appealing bars on the beach but the menu here caught our eye. Casual vibe .Friendly staff ,food freshly cooked in sight after you order, table alarm to advise when food is ready. We chose the mixed brochetta to share, which was very tasty and nicely presented. All orders we saw were good helpings only empty plates went back to the kitchen . They use recyclable glasses for the beer , available in three sizes with an initial 2 euro deposit per glass. Give it a try - good value .

Very nice staff, super friendly. The bar is right at the beach and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We can highly recommend this place.

Lively staff make all the difference

Here’s to the gracious staff at the So Fresh beach bar, just east of the pier at La Datcha beach, Gosier. We walked from our hotel to this beach three days in a row, and they got to know us as the “English-only” couple with a taste for the local draft beer (Gwada). A great place to cool down after an afternoon in the hot sun.

Great simple place to eat just off the beach.

Being just roadside the place isn’t a quiet eatery. Simple but well made food, especially hamburgers. The service is friendly and at an easy going pace. Just the way to enjoy a beach. The prices were very reasonable and it deserves the popularity it is getting, seeing from the occupancy at other similar restaurants.

Cheap Cocktails

Being just back from the beach the drinks were cheaper than the 'on the beach' joints but just as good. The place was noisy but it didn't spoil our visit.

Great hamburgers

Nice little place that serve good hamburgers and local beer :) They also show some sport events on the TV. It is close to the beach and a great place to have a drink.

This is a place to fill your belly with food and booze while at the beach for cheap. Nothing special, I see it as a place to fuel up. Food - 2 Just average food that can be made easy. Burgers, fries, skewers and salads. No skills needed here. Service - 3 Just say “island time,” but hey what the heck we’re on vacation right!? Atmosphere - 2 Just a shack off the beach in a parking lot. Will not return since there are a few other places around

Beautiful View

We stopped here for our mid morning coffee break. So Fresh is a mobile “burger van” sort of place which is parked up in a car park right next to the beach at Le Grosser. The view was outstanding. The seating area overlooks the beach and a small wooded island in the bay. Its location looks quite idyllic. That’s the best bit. Otherwise this place is scruffy with some unsavoury characters as customers. We were a little out of place. Coffee was off the menu because they had run out of milk so we had a soft drink. We did not eat here but we could see that they offered a range of snack type meals, which seemed to be reasonably priced.

Very good lunch overlooking the islet. Heartwarming welcome. We tasted the skewers with satay sauce (excellent), and the krusty chicken from the children's menus was great. Not to mention the cocktails, the hardest part is stopping! We recommend !
