The best oysters famous all over the world. If you love raw oysters this is the place to get the best. Watch them shell them and have a taste .

The oysters were divine! I asked if we could get oysters to take outside as our 2 kids were sleeping in the car and we didn't want to wake them. There was a picnic table outside, belonging to a different business, that we borrowed for about 20 minutes. We couldn't take drinks outside, however, sitting right by the water, watching... More

Reserve the table in front of the window, bring your appetite and keep eating until you can't anymore. It may be closed in the offseason but make every effort to get here and enjoy the finest, freshest oysters anywhere on the eastern side of this continent. All menu items are good and even the locally brewed beer tastes special. Go,... More

This is a great little restaurant, with the freshest, most delicious oysters. Very disappointed that it is closed for the season. Seems this restaurant is only open in the summer months

Really quaint little out of the way spot. We showed up with no reservation and they graciously accommodated us. I had the mussels and husband had the oyster po'boy both were excellent. Service was great and the prices although not inexpensive were reasonable,

Unassuming from the outside and small on the inside but don't judge a book by its cover. Possibly the freshest, tastiest oysters ever! It's worth the drive for atmosphere alone. Who wouldn't want to eat at the home of the Malpeque oyster. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Loved it and possibly my favourite meal of my tour of PEI and... More

This place is very small, but they make up for it in the quality of the fresh, local oysters and other shellfish they offer daily. The restaurant comprises only a few tables in a small room in what is essentially a fish shack on the wharf. Downstairs, they sell fresh seafood just in from the boats. Upstairs, the daily offerings... More

With only 24 seats on the upper floor of a fish shop, you need reservations. But the planning is worth it. The oyster are so good. If you love oysters your taste buds will be in heaven. The presentation is excellent. Good service. Terrific experience. We went several times.

We had been to th Malpeque Oyster barn before. We love the pan fried osysers, we ordered the large 16 oyster size on this occassion, we found the oysters small, while still flavourful we were disappointed, the small 8 oyster size appeared to be better value. I had the fish taco , this was not one of the better fish... More

This restaurant was worth the drive out to Malpeque. The oysters were amazing. They ran out of the large ones but we had the small ones and they were spectacular. What amazes me is that the crab cakes were *even better* than the oysters. As a maritimer I know crab cakes and these were very good. The lobster roll was... More
