We came here for a romantic dinner and were not disappointed! Best service by far and we received both Prosecco, home made bread and other small surprises during the dinner. If we are to come to this region again we will go here against for...sure!! If I could give 10 stars I would but 5 is the limit 😃More
Food - amazing in every way and not only delicious, but also beautiful!
Service - so nice and passionate
Price - worth double what we paid (which was basically nothing for that level of food and service)
A most visit if you are in...the area!More
Visited tonight. The food and service was outstanding. Would definitely go again.
The beef fillet was cooked to perfection and never seen anything like the cheesecake served in a pot before. Exquisite.
After experiencing several high level restaurants in France and many others all around the globe, i have to admit that i was quite impressed by Antica Torre's young chef cuisine.
The tagliatelle recipe was a good introduction to a rural but fine local cuisine made...with high-quality ingredients. Perfect cooking, right balance of taste and texture were the key oh this first mouth-watering course.
Despite this pretty good start, i was surely not ready for the Beef fillet with Pata Negra and mushroom sauce that came in. There's nothing much to say about this dish except it was very well executed and that the combination of flavours is just astonishing.
To enhance those two courses, i also had the pleasure to taste two local wines recommended by the house. Special mention has to be given to the Barco Reale wine served with the tagliatelle.
I finally have the pleasure to taste the "Il fiore de mia madre", a well-presentend and tasteful cheesecake inspired by mother's chef. Well done.
Last but not least, the team is paying attention to details and it makes the difference : homemade grissini, homemade little breads, coffee menu, "mignardises" etc...
All my compliments goes to the chef and its team ! We feel the passion and the great amount of work and love put into your cuisine.
We'll probably cross the Alps to come again at some point !
I have visited the place with my family 2 times in my one week stay in beautiful Carmignano. The 3rd booking is waiting already. Great food, good atmosphere and a kind English speaking personnel. Parking places can be found in front of the church nearby
We were driving around the area and looking for a good restaurant to have lunch. We wandered in around 12:30 and the only ones there. The owner directed us to our table outside under one of the trees in the shade on a warm day....Then the excellence commenced. We were brought an amazing prosecco drink with a very tasty entree and grissini. We ordered the food and drinks and when they came were amazing. Tasted superb. Have no hesitation in giving this our highest reccomendation.More
