We had lunch and it was excellent! The place is nicely designed, very cozy atmosphere. We ordered the spaghetti with zucchini and tartufo and the taglioloni di mare, both pastas were freshly made in house. We also had a half bottle of their local wine, very good actually! Before our lunch was served, they brought out three special dishes of... More

Very friendly staff. Lovely food, extra courses served, we were very full! Recommended wine was delicious. Staff arranged a taxi for us at end of meal.

Wonderful food and great service. Carla is an exceptional cook and her menu is varied yet very simple. Great authentic Italian flavours at a reasonable price. Will be back for more!

The husband & wife team have a superb hidden gem here. The menu is not massive but every time we've eaten here, we leave full of 'yummy' noises. Not a cheap meal but worth every euro! Good choice of wines: little starters on the house (mouth watering) and delicious from start to finish. Our teenagers' favourite restaurant in Salo' (risotto... More

My friends and I all thoroughly enjoyed dinner here. We ordered a main course to start and were surprised to be given 4 different plates of tasty morsels. I would have said they were beyond being amuse bouche. The main courses we had were excellent and the desserts the same.

Our meal started with several Amuse Bouche (complimentary) which were very generous size and excellent, followed by a home made spaghetti and zucchini with truffles. I would have to say it's probably the best pasta dish I've ever eaten, beautifully flavoured and al Dente.

We ate at La Campagnola on a Friday evening out of season. We had not made a reservation but arrived early and secured the only table free that evening. The menu is not extensive but the food was very high quality and the service attentive despite the restaurant being full. The meal started with a four complimentary tasters - rather... More

Very nice and traditional restaurant. Don't miss out on this one. I got nice starters followed by a pasta dish with shrimps and courgettes. Main course was sea bas from the grill. Fantastic with a glass of Lugana white

This rustic experience is not to be missed if you enjoy excellent food and personal service. This was out best dining experience in Salo and we tried a few in 7 days. The attention to detail in the preparation and presentation of all the dishes was outstanding throughout. Very romantic eating in the garden but also very popular with family... More
