I can't rate this pub for food, we didn't eat here. We did stay and the rooms are clean, roomy with a nice bathroom and fluffy towels. The rooms overlook a courtyard which is the smoking area for the pub and can get noisy. The first room we were offered was right over an air conditioning unit which has a... More

Brogan's was always a lovely spot and it's great to see it open again after a few years of closure. It was always a friendly, homely pub with a nice vibe and good staff. It's good see it has regained this atmosphere upon its reopening. Love the open fireplace and soft lighting, good food and even better pints! Definitely worth... More

So after Brogans re-opened my wife and i popped in for some lunch, we had a garlic bread with cheese to start (shared it), couldn't taste any garlic, was just a ciabbatta sliced in half and loaded with chedder cheese, very oily and basically just cheese on toast. The cajun chicken burger was ok, nothing special, my wife had the... More

This local pub/restaurant has a historic and inviting atmosphere. We were there in mid-April and the clientele seemed to be mostly locals with some tourists. Our waiter recommended the Steak On A Stone and it was one of the best steaks I've had in my life. Accompanied by chips and a Guinness I was in heaven! Friendly wait staff, good... More

We took refuge from the rain and had lunch for 7 people here and were not disappointed. My dad had a lovely vegetable soup for starters and then chose the chicken wings, but found the portion size of the chicken wings too small. My mum, my husband and myself had the steak sandwich which was lovely and a good portion... More

We had visited Brogan's Bar and Restaurant a few times as we live locally but had never tried steak. We recently visited with family and had the Steak on the Stone recommended by the waitress and we were not disappointed. It is probably the best steak we have ever had! It is an experience in itself which should not be... More

If you are a steak lover, do not miss this restaurant. Their Fish and Chips are great, the Irish Fry-up is enough for two...but when you are having a Guinness and settling in; you will notice a great many people getting the "Steak on a Stone" entree. It is outstanding! Three complementing sauces come on the side. The steak is... More
