Really nice Bar and restaurant. Food is really good. They have a large outdoor area and it is safe. There is a Takeaway on premises which is only ok

After a week in town, a small village in County Clare, went for dinner. Behind a friendly pub, a buzzing restaurant. The food was truly wonderful, particularly the Eton mess. Top class food!

We sampled all the restaurants in the village, this was the worst. Staff were friendly but it’s poorly run, lacks professional management. Food took over an hour to arrive. One member of our party was vegan—it is most definitely not a vegan friendly restaurant as...claimed on this very site. One member of our party left after his food had still not arrived after 1hr 15mins. The waitress said “all I can do is put in the order.” Upon telling the owner that he was leaving and had waited 1hr 15mins, the owner said “Good luck to you.” No apology, no manners. That response tells you everything about this place. It’s a pub that decided to try their chances at being a restaurant but lacks serious experience, professional management and a customer centric mindset. Doonbeg is small, but the other restaurants in town are much better. You would be better off going to Morriseys on repeated visits rather than going to Turbidity even once.More

Having visited Tubridy’s previously I expected a high standard but they have reached a new level the food was amazing the risotto was the nicest I have ever tasted.couldn’t find fault with the place toilets immaculate service fast and friendly.I dined in Morrissey’s the following...night and it just doesn’t compere in terms of quality of food I don’t know what all the fuss is about apart from the view of the river it’s very average. Will def visit Tubridy’s again next year.More

Great to be here again and glad the quality of the food and service are still excellent! The menu has been updated again this year and at our 2 visits we tried the starters of seafood raviolo, crispy poached egg in mustard sauce and the...tomato and mozzarella salad. We had the hake main dish, fish and chips and the amazing beetroot risotto. It all blew us away. Far superior to anything else we’ve had recently! The restaurant itself is decorated stylishly and there’s a great ambiance- it was busy both evenings, yet the staff take time to chat and it all made for a relaxing experience!More

How often do you connect with the chef with just sitting outside at the table and not seeing her/him? I did, I could totally tell the chef is delighted to be back after Covid and cooks from heart. I order crab stuffed Ravioli and Chicken...Supreme and it tasted Michelin star good. I will definitely recommend this place to my friend or anyone visits Doonbeg.More

Had lunch here recently, and had a very enjoyable time. Food was good while menu options were not wide ranging. Service was good, staff were friendly and facilities were also good. The outdoor dining area is essentially in 3 sections. The first section is pretty...much enclosed just with high level windows on the outer panelling. The other sections were well ventilated, one being completely outdoor. Tables etc were adequately spaced. Overall, a very nice experience.More
