What a great place to eat! Very polite waiter, great taste of every plate we ordered, nice and clean environment. I recommend you try the stuffed calamari, the stuffed mushrooms and the avocado salad! Good job, guys!
On recent visits to Paleochora I've enjoyed most of my meals here. On the main street with plenty of buzz with both tourists and locals.
Their lamb, beefsteak and calamari were all delicious
We ate a very delicious lunch at this traditional greek tavern. We had the most wonderful zucchini balls and the very best tzatziki, not to mention the stuffed eggplants and the mousaka. We strongly recommend the visit.
I should've learned by now that if they try to pull you in from the street you should stay away from a place. We hadn't visited it so we decided to go in anyway. Service was mediocre, food was mediocre, halfway through the meal they...turned on the tv to watch a football game and promptly forgot everyone in the kitchen (even when we were on the prime table to actually watch the game which we couldn't care less about). The food was nothing special. We would've loved to just pay and GTFO but it took long enough because the staff seemed to be actively avoiding us even though we were waving our hands to them.
You'll get better food and better service in pretty much any restaurants in Paleochora. And really, as almost all are 4-5 star worthy this is "only" 3. I wanted to give 2 but it wouldn't be fair. They weren't *BAD*, just bad enough I don't want to experience it again.More
Sometimes you are lucky. That was what we felt after our dinner at Inochoos restaurant. Friendly service, paired with way above average food. The Avocado Salad was a real taste surprise, the Lamb from the Oven was fantastic and the Grilled Octopus was tender and...tasty. The free raki afterwards was kind of sweet and very enjoyable.More
Very good traditional Greek cuisine. We have been there many times during the last years.
Our favorite dish is Papoutsaki ( Filled egg plant.) They have a lots of interesting starters on the menu as well. They taste very well e.g. filled mushrooms or cheese...Croquettes. The atmosphere is very nice and friendly. Because the restaurant has facilities from one side though the building to the other side they have two areas where you can sit. The largest area is on the main street side and the smaller area is on a smaller alley. We prefer to sit at the smaller area were it is quieter.
