Came here for dinner last week. We hadn't booked but luckily we were early and the manager squeezed us in on a table that was free til 22.30. (Service starts at 20.30) The restaurant is perfectly located along the beach, and was just a short...walk from our hotel (Les Delfines). It is in a short parade of restaurants but for us was the stand out, in terms of food quality and ambience. I highly recommend the turbot, this was beautifully cooked and sizeable. My wife had the entrecote steak which was also amazing. We had a few starters too, including whitebait and sardines, and these were all excellent. With a few drinks the bill was still incredibly reasonable, so I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were friendly but clearly rushed off their feet due to how busy it was -when we left at 22.30 it was absolutely heaving with people waiting to get in, so I would definitely recommend booking to avoid disappointment!More
Top food. Excellent service. Great wine selection. Reservations needed. Full as of 9pm. This place is also preferred by locals so you can’t miss. Will come back.
We’ve recently taken friends here & between us have had quite a lot of different things on the menu - all great. The paella needs a special mention as well as the chopitos. It’s in a great location and as people have said, best to...book in advance.More
We ate at Bonobo once and had a really nice meal, with turbot and sea bass dishes. My wife preferred my dish of Turbot which was cooked in butter and lemon than hers, which was accompanied with paella rice. Both dishes were really good and...the price reasonable. We made the mistake of not appreciating how busy and popular this restaurant was at the weekends and could not get a table on our return to the beech area a few days later. The other dishes being served all looked really good and we were looking forward to trying a mix of tapas dishes, but it was not to be. Certainly look to book in advance if you do not want to be disappointed.More
Today was a rough windy day, overlooking the beach. The food was simply perfect as normal, good value and fresh ingredients, the staff friendly and effecient. You could not ask for more. Due to lockdown, we will not see you until sometime in 2021.so thank...you and enjoy your time off. Stay safe.More
Bonobo is an excellent restaurant just by the Mediterranean Sea. We had a great seafood plate and some nice tapas. Prices are reasonable but you need to book a table in advance or put your self on a waiting list. We had to wait almost...40 minutes for our table since we didn´t book in advance.More
We’ve been a few times now & each time had great tapas sitting next to the beach - friendly staff & very reasonable prices. We’ll be back
The location and food were very good but the service was a little slow. Overall the location is excellent and the food was good value for the money.
We Go to the beach in front of bonobos and hire their sun beds and usually have a meal there . The restaurant is well known for its sea food which is excellent we had a mixed grill and there was plenty of meat and...also a tuna salad with it the garlic prawns are to die for overall a wonderful experience well recommendMore
Nice setting just off the sandy beach, watching the waves. Menu choice mostly fish/seafood. Starters (Sardines and garlic prawns very good, but also ordered a portion of chips which didn't come) Expected service to be laid back (surfers bar) but it was very slow and...inattentive. Main meal (Grilled Seafood & 2 portions of chicken) Served at different times. Two mains (Chicken) finished before Seafood for other two diners arrived. Again chips order (a second time) didn't come. One of the chicken peices was raw in the middle - chef later told us thats how he liked it, but if we wanted it cooked more we should have said! They weren't busy when we ate, so can't see why service so poor. Asked for more drinks (Twice) before served. Worst meal of the weeks holiday, will not visit again.More
Had really nice dinner at Bonobo, nice and relaxed, good service, went back again too. Best calamari I've ever had. Specialize in fish, I had great Sea Bass.
Visited this place several times on my two visits to La Manga. The staff are amazing and the seafood is to die for. I will definitely go back on my future visit.
The food was ok except that one dish never arrived and the location is fantastic but the service was poor. We had to ask for everything at least twice.
Wonderful simple seafood by the beach with 10 beers for €9! What’s not to love! Excellent prices, excellent food and friendly staff
